Just curious if anyone has been denied insurance coverage but then approved on appeal? If so how did it happen and with what ins company?

Welcome David! Also a newbie and just finished my first visit week before last. Can't wait to get my actual date but in the meanwhile I will stay on the forum and get as prepared as possible. Let us know your date when you get it so we can stay supportive of one another.

Thanks for starting... 1) ride in an airplane without the seatbelt extender and be able to put the tray down 2) shop for clothes that I love and not just for what fits 3) not always feel like the fattest girl in the room 4) DANCE! 5) not look at a booth in a restaurant like its the enemy! 6) never worry about fitting in a chair, no matter where I go 7) feel beautiful 8) not be afraid to play on the floor with my kids in case I can't get up again 9) can't wait to stop avoiding mirrors! 10) ride a roller coaster!

So no turning back now. Can I hear from all sleevers who truly believe this was the best decision they ever made?

Good luck! Hope the appointment goes great. Not sure how long it takes to get a surgery date after that but keep us posted.
