Well you get a double congratulations then!! I have no doubt you are anxious to see that little one and have your surgery! Just think of how much fun you are going to have with that new grandchild and what you will be able to do with your new healthy self!

They haven't checked her again yet but I agree the epidural will relax her body. She called me earlier in the evening laughing so hard because her Water broke and just flooded the floor! Typical movie style! Then the pains began!! On Friday she was almost 3 centimeters and 75-80% effaced. So I am hoping by like 3:00 a.m. we will have a baby. Thank you so much for the support and knowledge I really appreciate it!

Just got an update! She has her epidural now and in good spirits. They haven't checked to see if she has dilated anymore yet. I would imagine she has but all is well so far!

You know I had to talk to my daughter about this because she did want me there and I respectfully told her thank you for the honor but this is a special time for you and your husband only. You need to lean on each other and I am a phone call away if you need me. I don't believe in a circus of people in the room it is a very very special time that they will recount over and over. Those memories shouldn't be clouded with other people and their comments and memories being recounted while she is trying to create her own. She has called me several times now to keep me posted and I love her so much and I'm tearing up right now because I am so happy for her and her husband. Thank you for your post it said everything I was feeling.

Thank you! I have been asked what do I want my grandbaby to call me and I have decided that it will be "Grandma" because that is who I will be! I'm sure this baby is going to get spoiled and I can't wait to do it!

I would say you have probably been overeating. I did the same thing. It takes time to figure out when you are full. If you sneeze, get a runny nose, or hiccup these are cues to stop eating. Don't eat one more bite......this occurs because the vagus nerve is irritated. It's not the end of the world but it is your first clue to stop. It took me a little time to figure this out and you just want that last bite because you can't believe your already done. So it is very easy to do. I would also feel like my food was clear up to my throat and if I burped it was going to come up! The thing is it takes a few minutes for this sensation to happen before you realize you are full. Eat slower, chew really well and make it small bites. After a few minutes reevaluate if it feels like you are approaching fullness. If this is the case then stop. In a couple of more minutes you will feel completely full without over doing it. The diarrhea you are talking about is that because you were eating something sweet? If so, that could be dumping but that usually occurs rather quickly after eating it. This hasn't happened to me so maybe someone else can advise you a little better on this one. I honestly can't believe how excited I am!! I am so proud of my daughter right now! How beautiful to know your first born is about to have her own!

I can well imagine your anxiousness after all you were about to me a mommy! Cry you betcha!!! Tears of joy for sure!

Just make sure you get at least 70-80g of protein each day. 35lbs is still a good amount to lose and you just have to get your body nourished so you can continue to lose. If you don't get the required amount in you will stall yourself because your body thinks it is starving and will shutdown your weight loss. You can turn this around with getting the calories in. They are aren't they! I can't wait to spoil the little cutie! This is one of the reasons I had my sleeve. I wanted to live a great life playing with my granchildren and by the time this baby is running around I should be just about there!

I have to laugh at the beach one with Green Peace!! I can so relate! I want to go lay down by the Water but I am not about to set myself up for the whispers and comments.

My hair guy ordered Revita for me. It has helped a lot and regenerates the hair follicle. Are you getting enough protein? This can cause some of it but most all of us go through this. I was telling my hair guy about this possibly happening and he said he had been to a seminar about this shampoo and said it was very impressive. He has given it to some of his clients with hair pattern baldness and it did regrow hair for them. Your hair will grow back without this but it just helps it to regenerate a little quicker. I honestly only had 1 day where I had a hand full of hair and started the shampoo and it has been very minimal since. You can order it on amazon and it is a little pricey but it works. I ordered the conditioner with it. Hope this helps.
