  1. Yes I did, had a problem when in the hospital wearing my C-pap mask coming up choking, it last a short time and I haven't had that happen anymore and I was sleeved June 19

    Tiredness!

    I was sleeved 6-19-13 and I had a hard time catching my breath but do your walking it takes a few weeks to breath better, just short walks taking deep breaths, you will find it will get better.
  3. Happy 4th everyone! Hope all is recovering and doing good, for me I lost 36 lbs so far but I haven't weighed myself in 5 days, at least now I'm sleeping through the night and I'm full of energy. I'm so thankful that I had the sleeved done, I have no more hunger.
  4. I find myself not tired at all. I try to sleep but its a couple hrs here and a couple hrs there, has anyone have that problem. As far as my hunger goes there is none, weight is coming off , started at 411lbs and now I'm 383lbs. Yesterday I noticed I was irritated at simple things; can't really explain it. But I feel fine now. I'm still sore but it gets better each day. I hope who ever reads this that you are doing better than me. I'm so glad that I got sleeved.... Peace
  5. I have no hunger but like a thirst , I still have pain in the stomach like nausea kind of, I was sleeved the 19. For me this all is easily overcome, I hear some say mind hunger. But from people that had it and like 3 yrs in they said it will pass.
  6. I will know this Monday when my surgery will be, been trying to get this done since January, now I have the jitters if this is the right one for me to loose the weight but at the same time looking forward to help this hunger I have after eating .
  7. I was wrong, on my discharge papers it said FULL liquids / soft mushy foods.. For 3 wks , sugar free pudding, light yogurt , low fat cream Soups, milk and Protein supplements shakes (then below the paper it said also include foods that are smashable with a fork .. After your posting made me read the main book and it said different .. So I called the Doctor office and she told me not to do that again.. I'm was confused and I hope I didn't lead anyone in the wrong direction.. Now I hope I didn't cause damage to my self .... Sorry
  8. It's 2am and I'm up can't sleep, I feel so thursty but I'm bloated
  9. A year from now I will be able to have crunchy foods like a cracker or no steak for a year, the canned chicken you can smash it to nothing in your mouth quite soft, but yes do what your doctor says to do. I can never have no carbonated beverage again.
  10. I was only on clear liquids for two days before surgery and 3 days afterwards I had the Robotic surgery
  11. I was told by my doctor anything full liquids or anything that is easily smashed with a fork, I could of had mash potatoes but I changed my mind
  12. Well I hope you are doing better!! I got to come home today from the hospital and I just ate some canned chicken ( 1/4 cup) and some Green beans(1/4 cup) and its amazing that I'm full and I feel so much better.
  13. Well it's going good all consider, I'm still in the hospital and having full liquids now; lost 21lbs ( I'm sure it's water) I'm hoping to go home, I'm still sore but the soreness is not bad. I'm not hungry, more like a thirst. I hope things go good for you and good luck on your progress and let me know how you are doing. Good luck

  15. Been walking the halls, taken in fluids good, no bowel moment yet but I've been farting, today I'm suppose to get mushy foods but I heard it will be lunch looks like I will be in the hospital another day, but I feel better with a slight pain when I go to stand up or sit down
  16. My heart beat went low so they said I crashed put a line in to my heart to take meds or blood bruised on my left side but its my right side that hurts. Walking without O2 , I'm just bloated with Water gain... Thanks for asking

    Thank you very much for the tips, I can not lay in bed unless I'm sleeping so I will be walking the halls as soon as I awake from surgery and able to stand, this person loves the term COWBOY UP it was our battle cry when I served in the Army and that training will help give me the motivation. Congratulations on your weight loss and your support ... Peace my friend
