Nothing is wrong with a bite of this and that! I had one bite of stuffing and it had a little bit of gravy on it and omg! it was sooo good had a bite of mash potatoes and of course I had turkey and ham but no pie but I did had a taste of cranberry just a taste on that I was afraid I might dump but I was full and ate about a 3/4 of a cup so I'm sure I'm in my range from what I totaled on calories it was about 800 for the day. And I got my protein in.. No guilty feelings here

I love reading your post, it makes my day and I'm thankful for that. I'm by myself so i didn't cook nothing, but I will go to Cracker Barrel or Denny's and I will have a slice of Turkey and a bite of stuffing and a bite of mash potatoes with some green beans so I'm not doing without, I lost so far 120.2 lbs , I will spend Christmas with my Daughter In Chicago next month... Keep warm everyone!

Well tomorrow June 19 @7:30am my sleeve date is here, being on this clear liquid diet has not been too bad, the broth, Popsicles , and jello all sugar free of coarse has helped, I never would of thought I could make it but so far I'm hanging in there, the kids say that's the way I roll. (Lol), I been keeping busy and not watching TV with all those food commercials. Went to a support group meeting last night and it was Mary Kay make over day, if I knew I wouldn't of been there I needed different kind of support, so I'm looking at all these females with a white mask ( paste) on their face, so I just sat there being humble with all the ladies in the room, did meet Liz she lives at the near by town made it a support for me, she is such a sweet heart. Good luck to all the June sleevers past present and future . I'm ready fully without a doubt this is for me!

Glad things went well for you! I stayed 6 days in the hospital and was sore as heck. Maybe because I don't like taking pain meds, it makes me feel hung over. Well anyway congrats on your journey to your weight loss.

You lucky dog! I've been following everything to a T and have still only lost 65lbs, and 5 days shy of my year anniversary!! So glad you're doing well Milton! Your not the only one, there was a girl at the support group that lost 68lbs and she started crying that I lost more for under 6 mths.. I felt bad and talked to her. I do a lot of walking and riding a bike, maybe your Mom and your family would like to walk with me at lake iola sometime, this cold weather is great for walking you burn much more calories when it's chili ... Your doing good and don't doubt yourself that your not!

I have so much to be thankful for . One of most of all I thank Jesus for saving my life the last twenty years while I was in the Army, I'm thankful to hold my Grandkids and hug my Daughter. I'm very much thankful on seeing these post on June op made me so cheerful so many beautiful post you have put on here. I thankful for my dogs, my Jack Russell grabs her lease almost every nite to go for a walk and it was 22° last nite without her it would make walking hard and boring and I'm thankful I lost another 2lbs this morning. God bless everyone of you

Such a happy group, this thread here is my favorite June post op..I'm down 116 lbs I was sleeved 6/19/13. I kind of go up and down, I hold my breath when I step on the scale hoping my scale don't say 300+ lbs ( my scale speaks) but it was sweet to hear 294lbs . I know they say not to keep going on the scale everyday, there not the ones that took that extra bite, I have to know if I have to walk that extra mile. I'm a emotional eater plus a binge eater, I'm always one bite away from it and I pray that I can lose 70 lbs more lbs. Men lose weight faster, and a girl in my support group I go to lost 68lbs she was upset that I lost that much and started crying.. I felt so bad so I went and sat and talk to her until she realized how good she was doing. So I will take a pound a week if that what it takes, a loss is a loss and that's a good thing.

Well it's my last day of having solid foods before surgery ( even tho I've been drinking protein shakes mostly ) now I don't have that option will be rough, I know I'm only on it for two days of clear liquids before my sleeve date the 19th of June, I know other done it but it will be rough, I bought over a 100 sugar free pop cycles and have chicken broth with all different type of crystal lite.. I just have to try to keep busy, what make it tough for me is if I could do this diet I wouldn't of weighed over 400 lbs, I'm at 398 now but it's all water loss.. Well I hope everyone is doing good and being cheerful. Someone on here said focus on your depression , I say heck with that get up and get out and keep busy, go out in public don't be a hermit... Peace
