Well what happened to everyone? I hope everyone is ok?? I feel like I scared everyone away on my posting... I hope not... I have lost a total of 155lbs, I'm just 15lbs from my goal.

I'm in a Marathon everyday.. I'm trying to hit the 200 mile for the month, just think i couldn't go 150yds less than a year ago, I'm so thankful that I can do this now. If the weather holds up i will break the mark i set....

Hello my Friends; I guess I feel like babbling after a good church service yesterday . I have not hit my goal yet and 19 lbs is within reach but still so far away. So when I hit my goal ..now what??.. Is this race over? Do I say ok, its pizza time. Where is my prize? ... For me this journey will never end. My prize is that Im C-pap free; I take way less meds and my mirror loves me and so does cameras , The best thing now is that I can buy clothes off the rack. Thats my prize. Along with warm smiles. I will always battle mind hunger on eating the right things, so just remember when you hit your goal; your journey begins. May you gain love and the only thing you lose in life are pounds ..lets keep our life long journey together with these post. You give me strength knowing that Im not the only one. ...peace

Wow you look great! I'm sure I could eat much more but I got myself on 1200cal. Most the time I'm at 800-900 but there has been a few times I got 1400 cal, That Turkey polish sausage does the demon in me. But for the most part it's way less calories I had before surgery. Keep it up you look marvelous!

Well I have 19.8 pounds to go for me to hit my goal weight, as my weight is now; Im happy where I'am at even if i didn't lose no more. I'm sure i will hit my goal and will be posting new pictures soon. I walk by people that I know and they don't even recognize me and I just smile and say Hello and move on, they kinda of have a bewildered look. Then there's the ones that use to say when they looked at me when I was 478lbs and I hear them say "so disgusting; if i ever get that way I hope someone shoots me". Well the same ones now smile and want to talk but i have no time for those people who live in there perfect world but I make the time for the ones that they turn the cheek too. I will never forget how I felt and I will be damned if I will let someone else say that to someone thats heavy.

Yes be sure you get your fluids in and stick with the program. Its easy to get frustrated so don't get side tracked on your diet, for you its only been December , you are probably losing girth , the weight will come off. I heard that if you shake your head and tilt it to the side it breaks up the salt build up in cochlea which may cause vertigo , I'm not sure on this but i read it somewhere. So I would bring this up to your Doctor. Relax weight will come off

We just got 6in of more snow...but the good news is by Wednesday we will be in the 60's.. Hopefully my water main will be thawed out by then, i been carrying water from a well about 150yds with two 5 gal buckets about 6 times a day .. I don't know how to add that to my exercise daily log so i just count when i go for my slippery walks. But I noticed since i been carrying water in the cold my appetite is up and that worries me. I think i have it under controlled but since having surgery it the first time i can say i was hungry. I been drinking a extra protein shake. But all jokes aside I was just teasing about praying for a blizzard... go to DQ.. It was just a way of saying Im so sick of this winter in a funny way and it wasn't intended for someone to go to have a blizzard, I just don't want anymore snow outside....i already started my tomatoes and pepper plants for my garden, not sure what else I will plant besides cucumbers and egg plant...but I'm so ready for spring..Happy Valentines day everyone

I agree whole heartedly so if anybody is praying for a Blizzard please go to Dairy Queen instead. Thankyou......lol You realize you just told a bunch of WLS folk to go to Dairy Queen ya? Lol Yup.....lol.....

yes I noticed it too, my hair is very thick and lots of it no chance of going bald even if I got 30% hair loss but that didn't happen but the hair did thin and after the 2nd day after hair washing. it looks like I haven't bathed but I just wash it every other day, I got to look and feel clean

I eat from any where from 850-1400 calories but i don't count the calories it's the protein for me, only a few times the 1400. I'm sure you looked at my menu on MyFitnessPal , i walk at at a quick pace for some but i walk 3 miles in 49:20 and runKeeper clams i burned only 467cal , but with that all said, when I have a DroP in weight I noticed that i swell a little and gain a few pounds before dropping below past where I was at, last time i stayed at the same weight for about 3 1/2 weeks before it came off. You may not be losing weight but losing girth and you will lose the weight. I don't cheat my self by counting shopping or cleaning as exercise. I make the time to walk or ride a bike or lift weight. I been told that you need only to walk 15 min a day, everyday. But i take things to extreme . My total calorie intake today was 1031, the nutritionist at the VA claims that way to low ( but the nutritionist at the batriatics office told me to worry about the protein more) that it put the body in starvation mode and it slows the weight loss but she don't deal with someone that had batriatics surgery, her idea of calories for someone my size is 1500 ( i think i would pop if i tried to eat any more) .. I hope Im not confusing you with my bumbling. Bottom line just stick to your program it will come off, I seen your pictures you look wonderful and your weight will come off, it's mainly how you feel not what others think. I seen your menu and yours is more like 600 cal... Relax kiddo it will come off all at once.. Your doing great!!

I will keep my fingers crossed for you!.. It took me like 8 months for the medical test i had to have , it seemed like the system was fighting against me. Your day will come just hang in there and keep us posted!

I just got on the scale and lost another 4.2lbs I'm happy with that. It's been awhile since I weighed myself and having 10 hot wings on Super Bowl Sunday made me cringe when I step on the scale this morning but stepped off with a smile.

I thought a 1/2 cup of egg beaters was high but it does say that on the carton, i use egg makers and its 1/3 of a cup= two eggs.. It makes me wonder now. I have a carton of egg beaters in the fridge so i looked at the label, it said 1 serving is 3 tbs about 1/4 of a cup but I will just stick with the 1/3 cup

I eat egg makers about 1/3 of a cup most of the time but once in awhile i will have two large eggs, as far as salad goes for me its grilled chicken, I get down the chicken first then i hit the rest trying to mix it up, but I have never finished the whole saladOh and exercise I walk about a hour speed walk. But I have got a lot faster walking 3 miles under 51 minutes and i lift weights and do 50lbs arm curls in each hand at the same-time ( which i don't put on MyfitnessPal, but walking and bike riding)

Good luck in your journey .. I was Sleeved in June and it was the best thing i chosen to do with no regrets. I lost well over 200lbs so far, I have about 30 lbs to go on my goal weight, it still coming off but slowed down a bit, I have tons of energy, no more c-pap and Im off of most my meds. Just stick with the program and choose wisely what passes by your lips, but this is a life time change. Don't even start drinking soda, diet included, it's everyone's down fall that leads back into bad habits. I drink no carbonation of any kind but i do drink lots of coffee with cream and Splenda . Watch your labels get nothing more than 6 grams of sugar, Plain Greek yogurt is a exception and make sure you incorporate it in your diet, make sure you get in your vitamins . I use walmart Children chewable twice a day ( cheaper) and B-6 sublingual . Make sure you get in a least 75+g of protein in. Try to get it in with food, but having a protein shake in between meals are fine. Stick with 3 meals a day, not two or 5, weigh your food, it should be 4 oz about a 1/2 cup and get in your water and walk at least 15min a day. I'm sure I'm missing things but i reply all questions. There has been time that I ate over a cup of food and I wasn't comfortable and the food felt like it was in my throat, so its like a kid touching a hot stove, you learn overtime. I had 1 dumping, I had watermelon , it was soooo good that I had one bite too many ( hot stove effect) never want to do that again. Well good luck and soon you will be called skinny and turn some heads your way..good-luck

we had 59 today for the high, I enjoyed it with a brisk walk through the woods on some deer trails, spring is getting near!

72! 40! Today we might hit 20, and we are excited!! Tomorrow we will be back to negative temps. I am in Minnesota. Today is my birthday and the scale finally moved for me! I cheated quite a bit yesterday, and I am planning that I will be off today and tomorrow, so I am prepared for the scale to pop back up. But at least I know that once I am back on track on Monday, that scale WILL drop again! Best BIRTHDAY I have had in a very long time! Happy Birthday! 72? That would be heavenly! We might hit close to 40 today. :-p. After all the bitter cold days we've had 40 will be a treat! I sure hope February is better than January, but it's usually not! Oh well, February is a short month...
