  1. Welcome cjordan, Congratulations on your decision to get healthy! I'm scheduled for the 8th as well. I'm a little nervous then I put myself in check. Nursing knowledge is a good and bad thing as you know. Staying positive and confident is a must. I believe in my surgeon and we have a history together. This will be our third trip to the OR together (Lapband-Removal-Sleeve). I am aware my risk is higher this time around secondary scar tissue, but there has been 2 years since the band was removed so I'm certain my stomach is well healed and willing to take the risk. I believe the surgery will be a success, I have to!
  2. I know how you feel. My surgeon did the same to me... I was July 1 now the 8th. They tried to make me feel better by saying he was leaving town after the the 3rd and he wanted to be in town in case he was needed since I am a revision from band to sleeve. Anyway it sounded good so I let it go. I was so ready for July 1.

    July 2013 sleevers

Well isn't this a coincidence... My surgery was scheduled for the 2nd, now changed to the first. There will be a lot of sleeves done that day. Think it may be related to the Fourth of July and your Doc wants to make sure he/she can make all the cookouts!
  5. The more recipes the better! Technology, got to love it,especially when it thinks it knows what your thinking and corrects it before you do
  6. Had my band for 5 1/2 years and was scared to death to have it removed. Fear of regaining weight of course.
