I have managed to move up my surgery date from Oct 7, 2013. My new date in Sept 24, 2013. I see the surgeon on Sept. 10 and sign the consents and discuss the surgery. I will get the pre-op lab work done the next week. I am so excited. I was told by the nurse, that I would not have to do a two week pre-op diet. I only have to do liquids the day before the surgery. I am really happy the surgery was moved up.
