Dignity

I am a 57 year old athletic female who has fought weight gain since high school. Over the years I have gained and lost a hundred of the same pounds, through every diet modality available to me, healthy and unhealthy. I am at an age now where the extra 80 lbs I have carried around for 25 years is killing me physically. My joints, blood sugar, cholesterol, all in various states of disease. I cannot expect quality or longevity of life in my current condition. I have been only existing for years, barely. I want to thrive. Weight loss surgery is my only hope for that.
