So sad to hear that your decision was based on what strangers told you. I'm not being ugly but did u lie to the psychologist? Bc u don't seem to have been prepared mentally at ALL, ND tisk tisk if u did fib bc now, you seem to b paying such a high price. At this point, stop posting n reading these forums nd go get some more therapy, esp., talking about dying WHEN your hair falls out! Really, for your sake, I pray to God that you go nd seek some prof advice nd stop posting. You need some face to face real talk not anything close here nd ik people r trying to help you, but it seems to be feeding something else inside of you instead of giving you the help you crave nd or need. One thing I want to agree with and add... ask urself, had u not had the surgery, how much weight wud you have loss in 4 mths? Keep lookn at ur b4 pics, and keep askn urself that question and then thank God that the decision u made to loose weight this time, was the best choice and ull get there eventually. God bless u and ur continued success...u R SUCCESSFUL nd u have 4 mths that prove that. Wtg.

Something I use now and I've not had the surgery, just babies...but diaper rash cream works over night for me.

Definitely do that, the surgeon told me in the meeting that if u document blistering or any skin issues due to sagging skin, insurance wud pay for a panniculectomy...look it up n gl:)

Sparkler, honey, I'm sry to hear about what ur going through, so I pray that what I say will help you w ur answer. Let's start w this, was it hard to get approved? If not, then know that changing ur mind now is ok bc u can get it ltr if need be, n ltr cud mean 2 months, few wks. 2 yrs...ur choice. If it was hard getting approved then think of it in a positive way and just say, perhaps its not meant to b right now. Ik uve read bad stories, so have I, but don't base all of ur decisions off of this forum...do research and speak candidly w ur wls team. Now as I see it, the most imp part of it all, you said that u prayed for guidance, Amen, I always do that too, but if ur still not getting the peace from God that u prayed for, n only u n He know the peace u prayed about, then the answer is a clear No. U said ur dream said no, God comes to us in many ways, if we allow ourselves to listen, I do....I pray that u do too. If ur still struggling against the surgery, don't do it now! It does NOT HAVE TO B DONE TOMORROW BUT WHEN YOU R READY! THE surgeon wont even miss a beat bc ur not there. This journey is urs n urs alone, we support u but won't pressure you here. Please lmk what I can do for u, I'm a faith beliver n u came here for a reason. Ty 4 sharing. Did u gave gb or the sleeve? I ask bc u said get use to dumping...one of the reasons I chose vsg was bc it didn't include dumping , I mean unless I ate somethn stupid, but u said get use to it? Yikes that scares me! I thot I was rdy but now I must research even harder. I spoke w one of the surgeons in my first meeting n he said, it cud happen but mostly in gb patients or if you just went junk food crazy w the vsg, ugh.
