My husband needs a site like this but for spouses. Those who didn't have surgery, but need to learn how to live with someone who has. My surgery date is coming quickly and it's for sure he needs a group for support as much as I need you all! Thanks!

I was sleeved 6-17-13 I'm 50lbs down and have 36lbs to goal. No weight loss for 2 weeks. This is my second stall so I'm not as freaked out. The more you move, the less you stall. BUT, when you do stall.....that's all it is!! A STALL! It will keep coming off, just remember you get a chance to make the best choice you can for your body again tomorrow. And btw bread isn't always bad.

I am going crazy...PMS is the only thing I can think of.

I'm 2 months out on the 17th and I'm stuck again...I had a 2.5 week stall at week 3,4 and 1/2 of 5...down 6lbs and stopping again. I'm 42lbs since Spring break and have 38lbs to go. i know these next 38-50lbs are going to be the hardest. So tell me....how much exercise do you get?

Sleeved 6-17....254 down to 212! I'm 5'10" and 31years old. 174 is normal BMI...I WILL GET THERE BY MY BIRTHDAY! (Dec 31st) First on to ONEDERLAND!

I started loosing at week 3...I lost 20lbs pre-op and I'm a lightweight. Only 40 more lbs to goal (normal BMI) and I'm not yet 2 months post-op. I cut my hair over 9"off Sunday.

I'm ready to do it myself! How is it going?

I'm 5 weeks post op and my husband has had sex with me 3 times. Hello!!! I'm 31 and I still need sex in my life...maybe not everyday, but at least every other day. It's killing me emotionally. He says he's just stressed. I believe that may be part of it, but I'm sure there's something he's not telling me. I know it's another person (in person anyway) they're aren't enough hours in the day....but that's not enough to reassure me that everything's going to be ok. I have asked. I have initiated. I have have done everything I can think of. He says he's stressed & busy, he has to do XYZ...then i'll ask again and he'll say fine, but for God sake i shouldn't have to twist his arm. That totally is a buzz kill....what do I do? Any ideas? He just is always too busy for me.

Thanks. He says its stress---when I ask what kind or if he knows what's causing it he says our son...the Autism is getting to him. :/ that's scary as crap, because the Autism isn't going away.

It wasn't as much as I would have liked, but it was way more often! He was gone 11 of the last 13 months though. Overseas. But before that it was more often than this too. This is new and making me crazy.

So I'm only 5 weeks out and already my scalp has gotten burnt! my hair has always been so thick this never could have happened.....now I loose so much everyday I'm ready to just cut it off. It's almost to my waist, but don't know what else to do. I take Biotin. I get my protein. I knew this was going to happen, but at 5 weeks-I wasn't ready to loose my hair! :'(

I'll be 1 month post op on the 17th...I had a 19 day stall that started with my cycle on week 2. I was sad, mad, frustrated...you name it! But at last the scale is moving again!

As soon as my staples were removed I felt like old me! If I didn't take all these vitamins and could eat like the old me I wouldn't think I'd have had surgery...BUT I do take a stack of vitamins and my diet is VERY different, so I know he did something in there. Here's to feeling normal!!

2 weeks post op and scale hasnt moved in a week. How do I get it to move? I went from 232 to 221....this week nothing! I'm pretty active and am wearing smaller clothes, but how to drop the lbs on the scale??? I know I'm new to this and I'm sure this isn't the first post like this....but please, if you have an idea...I'll take it! (I'm on day 5 of my cycle if that matters) My Protein goal is 90-but I'm doing good to get 1/2 of that. I'm drinking Water but what's enough? HW 254 SW 232 Today 221 5'10" Goal...170-160

It must be higher! I've lost 33.6lbs between pre-op & 3 weeks post op...47 lbs to go and I'll be 28.6 BMI and 174lbs. I'm 5'10"...typing these numbers out no wonder its been slow as in no loss the last 2 weeks.

My goal is 24.8 BMI! I can't wait to be there!! I'm only 3 weeks post-op...but I'm excited to see where this change takes me.

Do you go to group meetings? I'm looking for one that's not in Bethesda! :/
