  8. As so am I on the 25th with Dr. Jessee @Palms of Pasadena. Good luck to you all and a speedy recovery.
  9. I am desperately reaching out right now at this very moment. I know these forums are to be a support system but, this is all I really have and it is not helping me as much as I need it too. My husband, bless his heart, is being as supportive as he can. He is a negative thinker when it comes to drastic measures like this. "It is surgery, you can die," he says. "I want to live the rest of my life with you," he says. He is a long story to explain. I understand what he is saying and I want to live right along with him until we are old and grey (well, we've already started the grey part, LOL). But, I won't make it to being old when carrying around an extra 100 pounds with me. He has seen me going on countless diets, sign-up for many gym memberships, he's seen me losing weight and he's seen me crash and burn. I won’t make this long as I will get to the point. I live in the New Port Richey area and am REALLY looking for a female friend who hasn’t had the surgery yet or who has had the surgery and may be all along like I am. Possibly live nearby so we can help one another go through this together. As I said, I am all alone and I’m scared to be alone in this journey. I know it is the right thing for me to do and I need to be with people who are on the same boat as I am. It is very hard for me to get support even from my family as they are too busy in their own lives. Okay, this is my S.O.S. please reach out to me; you know who you are…
  10. Awesome, sounds like you're doing great. Keep up the walking but, don't over do it. Make sure to rest as well. It's great to hear everyone's experience and honored that you shared yours. Mine is on the 25th and I'm so ready to go!!!
  11. Take it easy and be sure to get plenty of rest and get your fluids as much as you can. Wishing you a speedy and easier recovery.

I have a couple pairs of jeans to that I hope to fit in. I guess I need to get them out and ready. Congratulations on your accomplishments thus far. Keep up the good work. I am 38 pounds away from ONEderland myself and cannot wait to get there...
