For those of you who have already been sleeved, anyone using the Profect protein supplement.? This is what I will given in the hospital. I'm wondering if I should get some for home? Sleeve date 7/16/13

My date is now July 16th, was June 25th. Had been on my preop diet already. I am a bit disappointed but everything happens for a reason.

Its not the pharmacy who is requiring the PA, its your insurance. Your MD will have to submit medical necessity to your insurance. Should have no problem getting approved.

Who knew this sleeve could do so much

Good job. That has been my rule for the last several months, no new clothes til after my surgery. I can't wait to shop in the regular size section. -
I had my echo done and all seems to be good with my heart structure. I will retest next week for improvement of my anemia. Hopefully all will be good so that I can have my clearance. Although I am getting a little nervous.

Hi June sleevers, I am also the 25th. Hopefully, I had preop testing and was found to be very anemic. So now I'm worried about how did I get this way. Now have a heart murmur, it may be due to anemia. Otherwise besides the very large paraesophogeal hernia. Things are going good. already lost my 10% and started my preop diet. I would like to ask for everyones prayers. Thank you.

Dr.Felts in Las Cruces, I'm not sleaved yet but so far so good. He moved from the Dallas area. -
So glad to hear that you are well on your way to your goal. Can you tell me more about the other requirements you had to meet. I agree , I think BCBS-TN is great.

Hi, I'm in Carlsbad. Just starting on my journey. I will see my surgeon on june 4th, along with the Nut, Psych, and have my EGD. My surgeons name is Dr. Felts at Mountainview in Las Cruces.

I have the BCBS-TN insurance but I am just starting my quest. I was told that I have to have a documented 10% weight loss from the highest point. I will meet with the Nut, Psych, surgeon, and do my EGD on June 3rd. This is when I will know more. Do you live in TN or work for a company based in TN?

Are you passing gas? Get moving. Lots of walking and call your MD.
