I have been struggling with my weight all my life , I have lost and gained so many times I have lost count. The last time I was healthy was 14 years ago and I am ready to be healthy again so I can be active with my two beautiful daughters and be a healthier role model to them. I decided that WLS was right for me back in December of 2012. I had contemplated it a few times before but really didn't like the idea of lap band or RNY. I had a friend tell me about VSG in October of 2012 and have her surgery then too and started my research. I knew it was right for me !!! And then in Dec my Journey began. I had my VSG surgery on 7/22/13 and have been living the sleeved life now for 6 weeks. I am down 23 lbs and feel fantastic. So excited for the weeks to go by just to see my weight loss.
