It feels like forever! I am wanting it to hurry up! I can't have surgery until July because I need to use my student loan I get in July for my portion. However, my work is way unstable right now and I worry everyday if I will make it to the time I can take my time off (my work pays 13 weeks 100% short term disability because of my tenure). I need this surgery! Pray for me that the work thig is all in my head and I make it to July! Lily u should friend me! I use this on my phone so it wont let me friend anyone.

Not scheduled yet but expecting a July date (toward the end). All stuff submitted to insurance last Monday. Ready for my approval!!!!!

Just joined this forum and I'm excited to have a good support forum to go to. I'm having my pre-op appt 5/29 and having surgery on 6.18! I'm quite nervous but ready to get this next chapter started in my life. My surgery is at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park, MN

I'm new to the website and I have one weigh in left, june 17, and then my paperwork gets officially submitted. I'm extremely anxious and hopeful for a surgery date first or second week of July! Fingers crossed.

Pencilled in for July 5 today. Can't wait to get things rolling.

I will be having surgery in July also, but don't have a date yet. I live in northern MI but surgery in Grand Rapids at St Mary's.

I'm also on the GC and saw the dietician and psychologist today after deciding to investigate yesterday.
Reading this and other forums I've changed my mind about a dozen times already so I'm not completely there yet.

I believe my surgery will end up being in August also. In the process with all the tests and drs appointments now. My last appt with nutritionist is on Jul 15th. Just joined this site so haven't had time to add picture, etc. I originally was going to do the lap band but my doctor talked me out of it! I'm so excited - can't wait to get this done so that I can get that "helping hand" to get myself back in shape and able to live my life the way I want to again.
