Outstanding - continued success!!!

Wow!! I look forward to being on point with my skinny girl me. We haven't spoken for so long, I hope we don't have too much trouble getting into the groove.

Thanks for the info - I am not brave when it comes to pain, and throwing up is something I don't like as well. Do you think it would be helpful to tell the medical staff that Dilaudid does not make me sick - so maybe they'll skip the morphine?? Was your medical team in Egypt english speaking?? Wow, I thought I got funny looks when I said I was going to Mexico - if I may ask - why Egypt??

Sounds Yummy!!

Try Isopure from GNC - it's not a shake. It has 40g protein per 20oz. Comes in lots of flavors, and kills 2 birds w/one stone. -

You look terrific!! Your swimsuit looks like a size 10 - good for you!! Be proud and brave, and get out there and have fun!!! -
Just keep thinking of all the reasons you want this, and the fact that your parents are sooo on board with this that they're helping you!!! You've got a great family - July 15th will be here before you know it. Now, go Rock your Pre-Op!!

I was going to go back to school 2 weeks after surgery. I decided not to because learning to work this sleeve will be an education in and of itself. Spring semester starts in January 2014. I think by then I should have evrything under control

If you are hypothyroid, it's a pretty simple fix. Yes, you'll still need to get blood work done pretty often to adjust the dosage. It took a couple years to get my thyroid level right.

Yay!!

I think that you can make your goal

Wow - I could have written this

I can't wait to find my hipbones again - 3 weeks out, you're doing fine. Remember, you had major surgery and now have serious calorie restriction. 1st you heal, and then you can beat yourself up for not jogging, or running a marathon.

Sounds like you're having a lovely vacation. You seem to be able to eat what you need to lose. All the sightseeing is exercise. Have a great cruise

Yay!!! Follow your Drs. advice to a tee. That is the best advice I have ever seen on any of the support forums -

2 weeks is a long time to be constipated - call your surgeon or PCP for laxative or stool softener suggestions -
It grows back, and no one has ever written on the two support forums i'm on about any bald spots - this too shall pass

Congrats!!! My surgery date is July 30 as well. We both have the same goal weight!!

3 week stall happens to most people

The first week after surgery I don't think anyone can ingest the recommended amount of liquid - but it sounds like you're doing great. As you know,by reading this forum, it gets better every day
