Well, one month from tomorrow I will be banded. I am happy, nervous and excited. I really can't wait. I don't have the support of my family. My mother says why are you doing this and you can do it on your own. Why sould you starve yourself. Thats why I weigh 366 and she is close to 400. You would think she would be more understanding, My daughter is taking me to and from the hospital. She is really not interested. She's 18 and about 290. When I started the process two and a half years ago (insurance problems) I told my best friend of 15 years she stopped talking to me. Only started talking to me 3 weeks ago. I am not going to tell her. I am going to need the support of my LapBand family who do understand. When I get to goal I'm gonna do everything.

I can't beleive it's almost January 5, 2010. I made this appointment in September! 2010 is our year is time for us to start living.:smile:

Hi, Being banded 01/05/10. Can't wait.

I was told no fills for 6 weeks and nothing at time of surgery.

My Bodybugg is Sammy. My Roomba is Rosie vacumme is Hazle. So my band will also have a name. Not being banded till 01/05/10, I still have time. :blushing:

Just turned 44 on September 13th. Will be banded on 1/5/10. Can't wait.:confused:

My neice is a cheerleader and nationals are being held in Texas. I have always wanted to go there, I think it's a beautiful place. Looks like 2010 is going to be my year. First the band then Texas.:mad:

hen I go down 10lbs pants are baggy. When I go down 20 I can go down a size.

My brother had to have one put in they called it a Green Field Filter. If a clot hits it, it will break apart when it hits the filter. It can't travel to heart, lungs or brain. I am glad he had it done, one less thing to worry about with him.
