    How is everyone dealing with skin and scars from surgery? I am 4 weeks out and I want to be proactive on what I can do. I fear skins is going to be an issue as I have much difficulty with drinking enough water. What else can I do or what have you guys tried and been successful. Also I don't think exercise helps with hanging belly skin.

    One more day of this liquid diet, then its surgery day, I've lost 11lbs so far, and feel like I've been starving for days. I can't wait for all of this to be over with and move on to the new me. I just hope I don't have any issues on my surgery day that would stop me from not moving forward.

    I was 217 when I started 1 week liquid diet, 209 on my surgery date then I've been 199 for a whole week

    Yup weighed myself and I've been at 199 for a week. Its like I finally made it under 200 but still have not made anymore progress

    I think I'm doing good, I've been stuck on the same weight for a week tomorrow will be 3 weeks for me. I have been trying to not weigh myself.

    Is anyone experiencing gurgling air noises from your midsection? I'm currently 13 days post op. And it is driving me crazy all of this gurgling noises and bubbly sensations. I just don't know of I am swallowing air unconsciencly or what. Help!

    Im 11 days post op and I get so hungry that I can't get past it.. I see all these posts of people that can't even drink water. In which absolutely did not happen to me I was able to drink and swallow just fine with no problem. And any liquids does not fill me so I'm constantly hungry like I'm starving. Its terrible

    I am on the same exact boat. I feel like I've been able to eat more than what is recommended. And it worries me to think that this may not work for me because i have felt normal from the day I walked out the hospital, hardly any pain I get hungry, I already had a hard time getting enough water in. I need serious help.

    I've had about a 1/4 cup of mash potatoes twice today.. I feel like no can't get enough liquids in but when I do drink it doesn't fill me

    I didn't get any of the bad side effects. Its like I left the hospital like nothing. I've been out and about like nothing has happened. Believe me when I did have my "bites" of yummie morsels. I most certainly felt them going down and that did not feel good.

    I don't understand how it would get smaller down there from losing weight.. hmm I'm still 1 week post op and have been trying to keep away from my husband. Lol I will have to try it out and find out myself.

    Oh my goodness, bless your heart.. I kept having the dry heaving and not actually vomiting anything out. But with the pressure Alone was awful. Other than that mine went fine and quick recovery. Just can't seem to get enough water and protein down

    @ SD_mini. Thank you for that. Today after all the comments I've gotten so far is enough to get me back on track . Very helpful. This is difficult very very difficult. More than I bargained for. I'm glad I have made it this far but, it is only the beginning. Where my mind hasn't realized that I'm losing weight.. I am trying harder from here on.

    @shewin1 Keep your head up, where there is a will there is a way! Stay positive even though its a bump in the road it just means its going to take a little longer for you to get there. But you will get there.
