Water, I bought vanilla soy milk and enjoy a few Dixie cups of that. I like using Dixie cups because it helps me calculate.
-
I purchased a whey protein from walmart that has 30g protein, 2g sugar, and 160 calories. I'm ordering better stuff online. What are you using?
-
This heating pad is amazing! I recommend everyone who is getting this operation to purchase one. Also, I mixed my protein together and made popsicles. Sooo good!!! I didn't feel like I was having to force drink. 2 Popsicles have 30g or protein.
-
Thanks! Walmart was ok, I went in for a heating pad. I'm home and tools some pain meds and about to take a nap. I haven't passed any gas. I have burped a lot.
-
I will, just need to walk a little. Im going to drive the scooter and get out when I need something. Going for a heating pad. Water is one of the only things that doesn't bother me.
-
Day 3 - I am going to be brave and go to walmart. I'm going to purchase a heating pad and a abdominal pad. I was able to drink 4 ounces of soy milk, diluted fruit juice and multiple Dixie cups of water. I don't know what the gargling sound everyone experiences is. I haven't felt that. To future sleevers: You can do this! It is very uncomfortable and sore on your left side. With pain meds and lots of walking everything is getting better.

I started my period during the pre-op diet and on birth control. Just shows that Healthy eating makes your body change. I've also had to decrease my blood pressure meds to only once a day. Good luck!

To All My Fellow June Sleevers........
Morganne replied to NikNakMcCants's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm June 19th too!! YAY I'm nervous and hearing all these positive stories gives me hope. Praying for all the sleevers out there. -
Thanks! I've lost 8 lbs in one week! I thinks that's awesome. Any recommendations on shakes you enjoy? I'm so sick of them!! I am drinking the EAS advantage ones. They are smooth and good. I'm the type of person that likes meat and not a sweet taste person. So it's hard for me. I think I'll enjoy the broths and soups. At least I hope so!!

Hi! I'm Morganne and I'm 27 years old. I am married and have a 3 yr old daughter. I come from a large family. 2 sisters and 1 bother, parents married for 36 years, 9 nieces/nephews, 6 brother, sister-in laws. I am a teacher and love children. I have two sweet dogs. In my free time, we eat! Go to the movies and eat out weekly. I'm ready for a life change. I want another baby. I struggled getting pregnant and had to have fertility. I have high blood pressure which began with my pregnancy. I'm hoping that with weight loss it will go away. I want to have the energy to run/walk a marathon or do a color run etc... Most of all, I want to set an example for my child. I can't wait for a second chance! It's like a rebirth. Lol Surgery date June 19, 2003 5'1 - 200 lbs Pre-op now - 192 Goal - 125 to 135

Sick of the pre-op diet. Surgery is on the 19th. I have multiple friends who have had this surgery and they all say the pre-op is the hardest. How are you guys feeling who just had the procedure?
