    Where does milk fit in?

I have before..nothing drastic..you just wont be able to eat as much of the solid food. The milk will fill your sleeve. It is however the best thing I would say for protein (other than a protein shake) to drink if you are going to drink with your food
  2. I am very similiar to you! I have 3 kids and at my heaviest was right around 200lbs...yeah I may not be 3,4,500 lbs but I was unable to keep up with my kids and food was always my go to! Keep up the good work..we are losing at right about the same time as well..I have lost 21 lbs and was sleeved on 16 Sept ! Kepp strong my sleeve sister!!

    September sleevers

I was sleeved on 16 Sept.....as of today I have lost 18lbs! started at the gym last week so hopefully that will make the weight fall off faster and keep me tone!
  8. Well I'm sitting in my hospital room writing this with the grogginess of the pain meds but the biggest smile ever! I'm so happy my new journey has began ! Pain and nausea coming out of surgery was HELL! But I burped about 10 times and then continually punched my pain med button! Now that I'm controlling my pain its not so bad and I'm so excited for the rest of my life!!

    Im officially sleeved!

Hello everyone...to answer the pill questions I had no issue. I just broke them in half (scored already) and took them with a small sip of water a few minutes apart...I was sleeved on 16 Sep (monday) then on saturday the 21st I stopped my pain pills all together and just took alieve when I needed it. I would say the hardest thing since starting soft foods/puree's is remembering that I have half a stomach and cannot have hte portions I used to have. I wasted alot of food at first and now I am getting the hang of it. Also could not tolerate the sweet protein drinks after surgery and found an awesome one at Walmart called Core! its not sweet and its all natural. good luck fellow sleevers!

    Im officially sleeved!

Well ladies its day 4 after surgery! Things have finally started to work out! Today has been the best day so far! I actually woke up with an appetite! Had a small protein shake and drank about 3/4 cup and kept it down with NO NAUSEA! Yesterday I threw up 4 times! Not fun with a newly stapled stomach and incisions! I had to call the doctors office to have them prescribe some anti nausea meds and switch me from the liquid pain meds to a smaller pill! This I think made a huge difference! For anyone who is about to go through this please be prepared for the few rough days after being discharged. I don't want to try and sugar coat any of this because you need to be mentally prepared for the worst! Ok enough rambling!
