I am Only 2 days post op. feeling okay. Not great but no Complications and I am Grateful for that. I am Able to drink Fluids. Broth too . I just feel weak. I am still in MX. Still sore. Of course I worry about not Being able to eat again. Or not being healthy. But I keep ready everyone's post journey and it is amazing and gives me hope thank you for that

Endless80, there is nothing wrong with that question. I am post sleeve 5 days and I think everyday. Oh I hope I can have that one day. Not that I want to eat poorly or go back to what I once ate but I am Human. Clearly I acknowledge that I needed help. I went through a tough 5 days in MX to have irreversable surgery so that I can change my life style, eat healthier, make better choices and loose weight. That does not mean I am dead!!!!! I dislike when people slam Others for wanting a carb now and again or sandwich. I doubt too many spent the time money and effort to go through this to only eat what we once did

I traveled home from TJ today. Surprisingly everything was fine. In the hospital and hotel I was hesitant drink fluids because I wanted to lay down. Since I was on a 5 hour flight sitting up I had 16 oz of apple juice (still need a BM). Then I had 8 oz Water Came home and had 1 cup almond sugar free almond milk with sugar free carnation Breakfast. I had this within 30 minutes. Then I was craving chicken broth. I strained Campbell's chicken noodle and drank that. ( about 3/4 cups) Everything went down fine. No pain. Should I be worried I am Drinking too much to soon

Start sleeping on m side compfortable?

Feeling okay. Dr. Gracia's team has been great so far. Everyone is so nice. I felt gas pains the first evening. Walked the halls and asked for a stronger pain med which came in shot form. It was good!!! Woke up yesterday feeling okay. I was able to keep all the fluids down

Part 2. Was able to keep fluids down. Grateful for that. Slept last nite. Had the pump out and yes it did hurt. Lol. At hospital. Trying to figure out how to get compfortable since bed does not adjust. Able to drink chicken broth here. Very good.

Boarding flight. Excited. Nervous. Want to get past the surgery part and climb the next mountain

So far so good!!! Samuel picked me up- very friendly. Speaks great English Marriott is very nice. Way nicer than I expected. They bend over backwards for you. Hotel is nice. Room is nice. The chicken broth was great. Popsicles not so much. Best part was meeting Jeanie and her mom. I have been talking to her about 2 weeks now and we are having surgery same day. I am here alone and her and her mom took me in and we hit it off right away. Feeled blessed to have met them.

What to bring? Calling cell phone service AT&T to get on international package. Gas strips Neosporin Eye mask Tread sox They have Internet? Does everyone bring a suitcase. I am traveling alone and worry about the lifting restrictions after surgery

Are we aloud to gave coffee during this time?

Thank you so much. Came in to Florence hospital around 6:30-7:00. Still getting our tests. Everyone is very nice. Hospital is nice but not what I am used to in the states. Full service though. Waiting for them to call me for surgery. Hungry. Had to stop eating at midnight.

There are lifting requirements so what does everyone use to travel home. A suitcase alone typically weighs 5 lbs. I am traveling alone. Having my surgery Friday. So excited

I am having my surgery next week and the only people who know are my Mother and my very good friend who I work with. I only told h because of work. I don't want negativity and opinions. All my friends are either skinny or normal size. They don't get it. I am Going to Mexico and I can't even imagine what I would hear about that. I do hate lying though. It is clear that I have struggled and when I loose wight I Hate the thought of taking full ownership when I did have help. I will decide if I tell anyone after. And I feel tell one tell all because most people have a big mouth.

I am having my surgery on Sept 28th with Dr. Garcia in TJ Mexico. Anyone else?

I am so excited. I am Finally scheduled to have the sleeve! I have been on this board for months and I am finally pulling the trigger! I am so excited. Scared of course. I am Going to Mexico by myself and I am okay with that. Anyone else going on that day?

Jean-Beans, That is great!!! I was just in Orlando yesterday. I am there all the time. Are you going with anyone? I am going alone. I just booked my flight. Southwest coming in at around 2:00 on the 27th!!!
