I just got the Bodymedia Link today and I'm super excited to see how it works. So far so good . So much better than the Nike Fuelband!

I am looking to be sleeved in MX the 2nd week of July. I'm looking at July 11th or 12th, and I should be confirmed soon! I can't wait. I've told a few people, including family members, and everyone is very supportive of this major life decision. My husband is particularly supportive and will be joining me in MX for the surgery! Anyone else being sleeved around July 11th-12th? I'm currently around 230lbs (down from 247 in Jan 2013), and I'm 5'4.

What is Being Morbidly Obese Protecting You From?
albertagirl replied to Mary Jo Rapini's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Magazine
This article is great. As I am embarking on this journey, I've been reflecting on my weight and how it "serves" me, and the part where someone commented that it's their excuse not to be held to the same standards as others really struck a chord with me. I'm ready to let go of my old story of excuses and start anew! -
Newbie needs some advice please :)

Thanks for the quick replies everyone. I'm going to decide today. Did I also mention that I work 50 hrs/week and also going to grad school? haha! I like challenges. I'm leaning towards waiting till July after my vacation and after my grad school course ends for the summer, despite the little girl inside of me who is stamping her feet because she wants it now! haha! Thank you again. This forum is an amazing network of ideas and support. I'm so grateful to be part of it
