1. Has anyone besides me had the G SERIES PROTEIN RECOVERY SHAKE! I had one today and loved it! It has 270 calories per bottle 20 grams of protein. I had chocolate and loved it! The cost was about $2.50 at CVS drug store.
2. I have been trying to advance in soft food, but everything from cottage cheese to mashed beans feels like it is gurgling on my stomach. I actually hear bubbles. Then I start to feel sick! My stomach is so tight that I am only eating 4-5 bites of food a day because of it. I am totally turned off of eating but I know I have to train my stomach. Eating is a chore and feels terrible. I am afraid to eat! I need recipe help and some encouragement because I am really feeling low...... will I ever be normal?

Feeling Bad

Hi everyone I am 1 month out from surgery. I desperately need to know things are gonna get better because I am really starting to get depressed. I don't want to live the rest of my life fearing to eat. Please give me some suggestions. I am at the puree stage but everything I try makes my me feel sick or gives me cramps in my stomach after I eat it. Even liquids feels like a big ball is stuck in the middle of my stomach. I have to let my adult kids come over a literary pat my back and rub it like burping a baby to get gas bubbles out my body. They only good thing about this is I have loss 32 pounds since my surgery but it has come at a high price. If it were not for the support I receive here I would be so depressed. I can't talk about this with anyone else. The people I have talked to and casually mentioned the subject of Weight loss surgery think it is crazy to have part of your stomach surgically removed. ...I can't reverse what I did but I need to know things will change. Thank you for your support.
4. Hi I am celebrating 1 month today. Concentrate on just healing. It took me about 2 weeks to feel semi- normal and I tried to narrow my focus on getting enough water. You have been through major surgery. This is a baby step process.

8. I had my sleeve on April 23, 2013. Original weight 274 Height 5' 10". Weigh at surgery 268. Weight now 248. My goal is 200. I am wondering if anyone has meal suggestions for someone 3 1/2 weeks post-op. I tolerate cheese but scared of meat and can only eat non-starchy foods. ANY suggestion are welcomed since I can only eat about 2 to 3 bites.

Thank you for your support. I went to my 3 week post-op appointment every thing went fine. I am doing better I was having to go in for fluids because of stomach tightness, but I have mastered drinking and doing better. My weight was 244...30 pounds down from my start weight. I am going to start trying different flavored soups. So far I like onions soup. But bean is sounding good. Again thank you for your support : )

I am not a vegan or vegetarian I am afraid of meat because I have a hard time processing it. My stomach is very tight in the middle and sometimes meat makes me have nausea. The taste of meat is not appealing to me. I would to be able to eat it but the texture in my tummy and the way I feel when trying to process/digest it is not pleasant.
