I Love dr. Ahigan. I travel 3hrs. for my fills with him. He is very straight forward. I have had 3 fills with him and i always enjoy visiting with him. I just be glad to hit the sweet spot so i wil not see him as often.lol but overall he is great.

that was funny. she might have been becuase it gives you a menu to follow. its great. but/nobody`s perfect and she thought she could get away with it.i`m ok with it so far so good. i don`t know about tomorrow or the next day but all i can do is try and if it doesn`t work so be it. wheetsin you are exactly right about not making comments personal so i apologize to any one i affended. but sometimes you can`t help but be defensive. if i have nothin good to say i say nothing at all accept when bein attacked. but i would never insult someone who was just asking and needed help making a decision.

wasabubblebutt, my mom was just saying that its not as extreme as everyone thinks it is. i thought you were trying to be funny when you made the commit. I just wanted feedback on the pills before gettin them. some days i`m week and some days i`m strong. I know i shouldn`t need pills when i have the band but i figured would could it hurt and it may help me to eat better and who knows if that is the case of needing depends maybe it will help with my lack of doing what i suppose to. maryrose thanks for the advice i will look into more. I really was hoping someelse had tried it b/c it is much cheaper then the bodybug which i did consider. but at the same time, when is enough enoughl what other drastic measures do i need to take to lose weight. i need to join the challenge but i`m so slow i don`t know how to join the thanksgiving challenge. i`m computer illerate.

Thanks for the positive feedback. I just thought that it might help me better make the right choices in food. wasabubblebutt that was just wrong about debends and besides don`t knock it until you`ve tried it talk is cheap and it only happens like that if your totally eating all of the wrong foods all the time. unless you know.lol everybody can`t be were you`re at and i`m sure it took time for you to get their. so my thing is if it worked for my mother at 68 then it may work for me. I`m doing better with food choices now and it was just a thought. i also had a girlfriend that is taking them and lost 9 pounds in 3weeks. I thought being banded was all i had to do so now i know its just a tool. we all say what were going to do it just hard sometimes to do it.

I have had food for comfort for so long giving it up is a battle. I will sleep and pray on it. I really don`t want to spend no more money on weight lost but i`m just desperate to loose.

Hi everyone i am 3months out and have only lost 26pounds do to my ability of not knowing when i am really hungry or just think i`m hungry. I considered trying to take the alli diet pill. i was just wondering has or is anyone one else taken the pills or are considering taking them my mother has lost 20 pounds in 3 months and i figured it will help me. any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Gummiebear, this is confusing to me as well. my band doesn`t feel tight and i can eat anything. my doctor said that i was pretty full. i have a 4cc band and i have 2.2cc in the band but i am living off of self control. i had a fill on the 16th of september but still have little restriction. me myself think it has to do with your mind and knowing when you are full. i have had food as my comfort for so long when i full i still want to eat. so the hardest part for me is knowing when i am really hungry and when i am not. use a little self control it worked for me but it was and still is hard.good luck

Hi i am 3months out and have only lost 26 pounds b/c i use to eat and always start tomorrow so therefore i haven`t lost like the others. I have a ton of candy in my house as well but i choose not to eat it instead i eat a protien bar. candy comes and goes and will be here forever try to concentrate on your weight lost and what you need to do. hope that helps.

Thanks everyone for the support. I wanted to wait till i lose the weight just so he would see what he would be missing. Beauty is only skin deep. any way i have another issue, I talked to the doctor and told him that i wasn`t feeling any restriction and he said that maybe i needed another fill but he didn`t understand why it happens after leaving the office. Too make a long story short he told me it is a possibility that i may have a leak. WTF a leak, he said that when i come back in and he draws the fluid and he doesn`t pull out what he had put in its a leak. that means i will have to go all the way to Mexico to get it fix. Friends I am not claiming it but it would be just my luck. if that is the case then this band is not meant for me and i was just meant to be big. Also i wondering if me eating beforegetting fill has anything to do with that. also i was on my monthly.Why would he say i may have a leak why couldn`t he just say maybe i haven`t reached my sweet spot. One more question, does .4 or .6 cc make a difference in your band. He took that out before i left the office b/c i couldn`t swallow. I`m not getting it done under floro. Please tell me this is not the case. If so I am considering removing the band. Please anyone with any feed back is aprecciated.
