    I had a hiatel hernia repair too...none of those symptoms. I guess I would rule on the side of safety.

    Thanks for the reply...my first checkup is today also. Full liquids for another week, then pureed. Just a little sore ln right side. All in all, I feel very fortunate, it's not been bad at all.

    I think my sense of smell is much more alert. Even perfume smells seem stronger...sometimes make my stomach flip

    Came home today..had a problem with nausea yesterday. Feeling much better today! Walking, sipping, napping.

    Yes I weaned off the caffeine and started this week replacing one meal with protein shake and next week trying for two. Thought that would make the two weeks a little easier. I hope!
