Hey everyone. I am just 24 hours post op and I feel awesome. I've been walking, eating, drinking, etc with no problems. My surgeon came in to see me this morning and said I can go home today if I wanted to. I cannot believe I didn't do this sooner! Feeling very happy!!

Hi everyone! My surgery is tomorrow and I couldn't be more excited!! The only thing that is bothering me is my lack of weightloss pre op. I have been on a clear liquid only diet for the past 10 days with 5-6 servings of liquid protein per day and haven't lost any weight. Has this happened to anyone else? I can't help but feel like I failed already

My pre op was 10 day clear liquid only with a few protein shakes. It's been really hard not having at least 1 meal per day.

I am in Minnesota and my surgery is on Tuesday. My husband had the same surgery 2 weeks ago here in MN as well.

Everything has been good with liquids. Today is day 8 of 10. I haven't lost much weight on it though so idk what's up with that. I'll keep you posted on how it goes. I'm just ready for it to be here already!!
