Just completed my 1st 5K last week with my hubby! I did my in 34:21 and he completed his in 29:11! Our life's have changed so much and we both feel so great! So much more energy now. We both were sleeved in May total lost between us over 250lbs!!

Anyone recently had surgery in the Memphis area? My surgery was with Dr. Woodman on May 13th.

I like Dr. Woodman he is very strict but if you do what he says to do you will succeed! Pre op wasn't too bad Dr. woodman require that I lose 10 pounds before surgery and I ended up losing 23. Surgery went good but didn't realized how bad I would hurt. It was hard at first but after a week I started feeling better and felt more normal. Post op has been good I haven't had any problems. Just follow doctor's order and eat right and workout and you will succeed I started my journey at 266 and today I'm down to 151

Starting weight: 266 Current weight: 161 About 20 more to go till goal!!

So yesterday I went for follow up visit with my surgeon and I'm down a total of 99 pounds so far including my pre op loss. Also I have lost 76% of my excess body weight! My doctor was so proud!I was sleeved on May 13th. Only about 25 more pounds left till my goal weight

Thanks everyone! I've been working very hard my husband was sleeved too and he is down over 130 pounds

My husband and I have lost over 230 pounds between the two of us we were both sleeved in May of this year.

Both my husband and I were sleeved. I was sleeved May 13th and he was sleeved May 22nd. So far together we have lost a total of 218 pounds!!! Loving life! Feeling great and healthy together.So glad we have each other during this journey. Team work baby!!!

I went shopping today for work clothes long overdue and I couldn't believe it I'm a size 12! Yay!! I haven't been this small in over 10 years! 30 pounds left to goal weight!
