Surgery day june 12 weight was 331 July 12th 286 Labor Day challenge weight was 256 August 29th 247 yayyyyy past goal of 30 lbs wk before Labor Day! Rocking n loving my sleeve! Good luck everyone else !

That's me that's allergic to whey and I hope that is not whats going on with you guys! It's awful trying to get even 30g a day in through food but if your makin your shakes with milk try switching up to soy or silk milk. If that don't help try with water! I just don't wanna hear you guys have to go through same as me. It's making everything way harder

I was sleeved on 12th. Weighed in at 331 day if surgery n now weigh 282! Best thing I ever did for myself. Glad to see everyone doing so well

I'm only one month out but wanna join Surgery day 331 1 month post op appt today 286.1 Labor Day 256 30 lbs is alot but just starting the gym tonight good luck all!

If it helps any, it is completely normal! I am one month post op on Wednesday and that burning pain just finally stopped. There is a stitch in there to your muscle which causes all the pain. My stitch finally popped last night unlike most whose pop within 2 weeks! I am so glad that today was first day without that pain. I have one month appt tomorrow n glad to b down 37 lbs from surgery day! Good luck n hope your stitch pops sooner then mine' n u can continue on with your new life!

I had that same issue for around 10 days n then started losing again other day! It will come off! Just body catching up :-)

I was sleeved on 6/12. Everything went okay and came home Friday morning. Since I been home I have been lucky to get one water bottle down a day. I'm taking all my meds, liquid loratab, protonix n a gerd medication... Today supposed to start protein shakes n children's chewable vitamins. Took vitamin this morning n instantly had dry heaves... I am still in alot of pain! Sleeping is even becoming a chore. I know I can't get even 1 protein shake down. . I'm scared. Last thing I want is back in hospital!! Only good thing I can keep down is a sf Popsicle... Do u all think this will get better in a few days, or should I be worried

I was clear liquids 3 days, full liquids 4 days and the puréed a wk now soft a wk

My bible (Bariatric book lol) says 2 wks till bathing n 4 for swimming in a pool! I never wanted to swim so bad lmao cannot wait!

No drain for me... My dr said there not necessary anymore... He can get the juices during surgery n are something of the past... Thank god lol but I did have a catheter only till following morning n leak test past. Then catheter out n tray of liquids delivered!

Yes hypo here and on 225mcg of synthroid.. My dr said this surgery more then likely won't change my levels n I will still have to continue the meds lifelong. When I don't take my meds for some time I get a goiter n the thoughts scare me right back into my meds loll

Oh that's great... My sis n law was gonna go through him. We went to the seminar in march. I went through Dr Zeni at st Mary's in Livonia.. I was sleeves 6/12 and am down 27 lbs from surgery day! Had to stop all protein shakes as of today. My stomach would not tolerate them but now will b purée diet early with as many proteins as can and also a protein shot everyday! Brownstown is really close, would b nice to talk to others in area

I'm 12 days post op and get hiccups everyday, seems like at time sleeve is full! Just guessing here lol. Hardly ever hiccuped pre sleeve, so has to be some kindve sign lol

Hey all... Just a quick ?! Is it normal now at 9 days post op I no longer need to sip on my water? Seriously I can take BIG gulps with no worries n I guess I assumed the sip sip sip thing was kind've permanent. Hope your all having a good day! I myself am feeling a ton better today

Thank you everyone lolll didn't know if something was wrong... Food on other hand is diff. I just had around 1/4 cup of cream of potato soup n dying waiting for husband to get out of shower so I can dart in bathroom lollll this stuff confuses me like now I'm wondering if that will change I'm time also but keep taking things day by day! I keep meaning to ask dr what size bougie (sp?) he used n forget. I went from 331 on the 12th which was surgery day down to 305 yesterday at follow up visit n today at 309 . Makes me wanna not eat n just stay on liquids but not enough diff things to have clear liquid either lol oh well maybe tomorrow will b better

You will be fine! I took a shower in hospital day after sleeved. Best shower in my life lolll I had anxiety because any other time I was in hospital they hardly ever let me shower was so relieved this time! Now I can't wait to lay in bathtub lolll gl

I posted this same thing last wk. I am now 8 days post op and it's letting up some. I just have the nonstop cramp on left side of stomach n next to bellybutton. No more nausea thank god bcuz dry heaves were killing my insides... It will get better! Rest take meds n walk when u can. Don't seen like it but it will get better

My dr let's me take all my meds n I have Zoloft... Won't hurt you.. I do however have to take Vic es crushed n it's for my fibromyalgia! Now that's nasty lolll

I was also sleeved on the 12th and still struggling getting my fluids in... Have alot of reflux and nausea but going to dr Thursday! Today has been beat day so far tho... Stomach still very painful but I'm moving around as much as I can. I did already lose the 16 lbs I gained in hospital loll... Almost had heart attack when I seem weight after surgery! Now time to work on the rest loll how are you feeling? Have you weighed yourself yet??? So glad to be 6 days po I know it's ones step closer to pain free loll

I had same problem and had to call surgeon at 1130pm last night... He had giving me a zofran script and today I am drinking alot more and can tolerate more then just water. Another thing is I add crystal lite or kool aid or mio to water and I have gotten almost 3/4 of a water bottle n maybe 3oz protein drink down and it's only 2:10pm. Keep your head up n talk to ur surgeon. The zofran is making a huge diff on top of the 2 other acid reflux nausea meds I been taking

Bash mom you honestly don't hardly need anything at hospital!!! They have everything supplied to you the only things I would bring is phone, charger, change of clothes if u don't plan on goin home in what u brought and chap stick. Honestly tho the hospital even had Chapstick for me loll I brought alot needed nothing honestly!!!! Hope caught you in time! Good luck everyone whose surgeries coming up
