Im starting to really get scared!!!! Im only able to get about 30 oz of fluids down and protein not at all I switched to the protein shots just to help get protein... Smoking?

There is also something else begins with a c which is a more sensitive nicotine blood test... My surgeons check for both.. With in 6 weeks and ask that you sign a paper that says you will never smoke again.. They say the nicotine and other chemicals can hard years post op as well as every day smoking health risks.. The idea behind the signed paper is to protect themselves insurance wise

    Smoking?

I have been on an e cigarette for about 1 year... It was the worst fear I had. I had to be nicotine free no matter what form... I couldnt put my cigarette down I was scared to death it would interfere with my surgery... Im not even gonna lie.. I smoked the e cigarette and inhaled rarely for 3 days passed the test continued it but 21 days post op and havent cared nor wanted to even think about smoking again.. My advice is just put it down now

    anyone sleeved April 30th

Mine was April 30th... Down 33 lbs.. Mostly due to dehydration and nausea .. Fighting the protein however I find Im able to hold more fluids down with a 2.5 oz protein smoothie mixed with a tad bit of water.. The first 2 weeks I felt I was doomed to dehydration forever... Im just switching to puree or mushy foods.. I tried tuna fish yesterday its very hard not to drink for 30 min afterwards so I just fill my mouth with water swish it around and spit it out... What I miss the most is a straw

I couldnt do them try protein to go saved my stomach all kinds of mess for over 2 weeks a little pricey but oh so worth it!!! Im holding more fluids because the shakes and juices were so hard on my stomach!!! 2.5 oz.. Tastes great... 1 2.5 oz bottle 26 grams of protein!!!! Not so sick and nauseous at all!!!!

    Protein ideas?

I had problems with protein shakes made with any milk or water.. Then I switched to the isopure juices prebottled.. I was in heaven but the after taste to drink so much to get the protein in... It was a struggle in my mind and my stomach... My husband found protein to go... Very much used in sleevers ... Protein to go is taste tollerable and in only a 2.5 oz bottle there is 28 g of protein... Made my life so much easier!! No more stomach aches from trying to get all the protein down and enough fluids.. I struggled and wound up with a 6 day stay in the hospital.. My husband found these little life savers for me and Its also sooo much easier to get the water in or the juices in for the day.. 2 little bottles a day and you have 56 grams of protein.. All in 5 oz total.. i love the strawberry banana. A little sweet because its puree vs shaky a dab of water shake it up in the bottle and your good to go!!! Totally changed me and allowed me to almost get the required fluids down. A little pricey from dicks sporting goods.. A little pricey on amazon as well as protein to go website. If you do 2 a day it will run you roughly 7-8 dollars a day.. But soo worth it to me!!
  17. The first 2 weeks the sight of water made me sick! I used to get major headaches if I touched crystal lite and thought it was gross as a last grip I tried the crystal lite no headaches absolutely delicious!!! Fruit 2o and sobe is great as well... The past 2 days though ive been able to keep water down
  18. I am 25 days postop.. I wound up 6 days extra in the hospital for dehydration.. Protein shakes juices you name it I still cant handle them all... My husband after trying and spending a ton of money to find something to get that protein in finally discovered the 2.5 oz bottle of protein to go.. And what a life saver!!! The 2.5 oz bottle carries 28 grams of protein.. 3 flavors 1st one strawberry banana I love it but super sweet so I add a bit of water since its a puree not a shake.. Im able to drink more water without fretting over the shakes or them bothering my stomach!!!! I im 2 days of theses feel so much better.. I drink half in the am half around noonish and then 2 more halves.. So 2 little bottles is 56 grams of protein soooo much easier and less stressful then those shakes... My husband got them at dicks( very pricey) amazon has them a little bit cheaper and then there is their own web site.. Check them out although they may run you about 8.00 a day soooo worth it...protein to go
