thank you so much for the info..i would defenetely look for a good doctor here in los angeles this is my first time posting i received my insurance card today and even thought im so excited i almost cry i would do everything posible to make this happen I have mention this to my pcp before i'll no surprise if i ask him for a letter or whatever is neede it thanks

I know it sounds weird but this is my situation, I swicth to a another insurance from my employer open enrollment and reading though the coverage booklet it said it covers the lap band. I was so excited since i been wanting to to this for the longest time, my coverage starts january i haven't received my card yet but i wondering how long do i wait to get this done im so anxious should i wait and if so for how long???

hi everyone, im very new to all of this but to this point i really want to have the lap band done, i started on buying dr. ortiz book lap band for life and i'll be getting it soon, somehow i was scare and i though on having the gastric ballon but i've learn that being 240lbs that won't work for me, i need some inspiration sometimes i get very depress i'm not even going to try to get pay by insurance because i have medical aid from the county and i'm assuming it won't covered so i'm going to try to get it finance. congratulations to all !!!!
