Let me start by saying thank you, for all the responses yesterday about what to expect during my appointment today. I'm a little nervous, but I'm sure all will go well after that I start my 2 wk pre-op diet on the 29th then my nutrition class on the 30th. Then the surgeon's office will submit for all of my approvals with the insurance company. I must admit that everything isrolling right along.

Ok...... so my Psych appointment is tomorrow evening. can any one give me any idea's of what to expect or what's going to happen? Please advise

I started a trial run with the Pre-op diet but I have been puttin fruit in it just to see if I would be able to stomach the protien. I must admit it has not been as bad as I thought it would be, haven't been as hungry or even really wanting much to eat. I have also started walking 30 min a day, so I am really hoping that that when I actually start the Pre-Op diet on the 29th it. won't be so bad. Has anyone tried the diet befor hand and if so how did you do when u actually started your diet?

@ LipStickLady, well that's a good thing that you always worked out. I'm just getting into the grove of walking 30 mins. LOL.... I feel really good about it all because I know that it's a tool to assist me on my NEW LIFE's journey. -

I'm on my Way....... So today I had my EDG and my blood work up. My doctor told me everything looked good, so not I have my Psyc appointment left for next week then my nutriton class. Then the weight is on I guess for my clearence from BCBS. Soooo excited, and looking forward to a new way of living. -

ON MY WAY!!!!!! So, I had my EDG this morning as we;; as my blood work. I also had a chance to speack with a Sleever who is not 2 yrs post op. She had she cameck to work after have surguery t have the loose skin removed, I really enjoed speaking th her it really made me feel good.

Good morning June Sleever's.... my I went for my first doctors appointment yesterday, I received my surgery date my BIG BOOK that I have to read the class on the 30th then I go in the 12th for surgery. I must say I was very excited but just as over whelmed as well.I must admit that I'm looking forward to a new me! -

So excited about my appointment with my surgeon on Monday, I don't know what to do with myself!!!! EXCITED.... I know it will all be worth it in the end!

So I really don't know where to start. I received my phone call this morning setting up my appointment to come in and see the surgeon on Monday. SOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!!
