My surgery for VGS is tomorrow, 5/9 , I am on my way ,have been on my preop diet for 3 weeks ,it has been a mental challenge of self control and so far I have lost 15 lbs. I have read books,and visited with a friend of mine who also has had this procedure she has been really a good source of knowledge and support as well as this site.I know whatever pain I experience will be temporary. I am looking toward to the future so that I can be healthier and lighter . I have RA and trying to save my joints as much as I can so I can be able to move freely.Looking foward ....not turning back now .
