Did you try putting a Gas-X strip on your tongue? I had the rumbling in my stomach but not in my intestines. I used Gas-X and it took are of it instantly.

Sorry you feel bad. I was sleeved Tuesday also. I have the left side pain that is talked about here but all other pain is more discomfort. I didn't have a lapband, i did have hiatal hernia. Swallowing e en teenie amts puts air in my sleeve that i have to work to get out. I haven't eaten since last Sunday evening and I'm not hungry. Through the first day pain until now I have not regretted it. I will bet you that when you beat the nausea you will not have buyers remorse. -
Is it Bariatric advantage? I was advised to but i didn't. I would advise the crystal protein though. For me mixing that in a sf crush packet and water is better than those shakes.

I have had my eye on a pair of size 9 Rockie jeans i have had since 1996. My goal has always been to slide them on. Now i have faith i will do it one day.

I have some pain on the left side that everyone spoke about here. No pain anywhere else though. In the hospital i had a tiny bit of nausea but a shot of something in my IV stopped it. I would definitely do it again. Now to loose the 7 lbs of Water weight the IV put on me. I'm struggling to get Protein in. The idea of a shake does make me feel queazy. For right now i am mixing Isopure protein water with SF tang. I broke down and ordered the crystal protein and i'll use that when it arrives. Still no hunger and no temptation when the family eats.

Potatoes in any form, spaghetti and rice. All white death foods imo. I hope to stay completely away from all of them.

I've never had an insurance company not pay once they have approved. However, depending on your policy you may have to pay co-insurance. Mine is 3000.00 When i checked in i was asked to sign a form that gave my consent for the hospital to sue the ins. Co to collect the agreed amount they didn't pay as promised. Also. If you have a deductible that you haven't met yet (mine was 127.00) you will pay that. You should receive a letter of approval from the insurance company too

I already tolerate the small incisions very well. They don't really bother me much. What does bother me is the larger left side incision. When i'm walking it feels like its pulling down on the stitch. I asked for an abdominal band for support but they only had very large ones. I may wrap myself with an Ace bandage today and see whether that helps. A other thing is the sipping. i do sip very tiny bits but i think I'm swallowing air. Burping the air out is proving to be difficult.

What was his stats on those subjects? I didn't even think to ask. He does stack them up. At 8:30 am he had already done 8 sleeves. There was at least 5 more in the surgery prep room following me. -
Thank you all for the well wishes. Everything went well. He did find a hiatal hernia that the gastro Dr didn't see and it was repaired. It seems very strange to think that I am now on the other side of this. So glad its done and over and I can focus on mending.

They make smores and chocolate chip cookie dough too -
I was a major soft drink junkie for 40 years. I'm caffeine and cola free and making it fine by switching to the powdered Crush drink packets, Strawberry is best IMO.

Wow! You look great! I love the family pics too.

Hmmm, I don't know for sure but i think if you reenact that half- dressed you'll get a lucrative TV commercial deal.

13! Thats a lot in one day! I was scheduled for 9:30 but they called and moved me up to 8:15. I read somewhere that the best outcomes occur with surgeries early in the week and in the morning. That way the Dr and team are kind of fresh and not daydreaming about their weekend plans. -
