    pureed foods

I added sour cream too! Of course I also ate refried beans, cheese, sour cream, and tavo sauce. I could only eat a little but its still good to me 8 weeks out.

anyone else felt the way I do

I see the same thing now. My hubs and I went out to eat. I ordered a baked crabcake app...and ate 1/3 of one with a little salad. There wasn't even a drop of juice on his plate when he was done...and eve ryone eats sooo fast! I can't pass judgement. I am just thankful I am not that way anymore
  3. I was thinking about an iced coffee today..so I made one at home. Decaf coffee...little artificial sweetener..and milk...and ice. I was in heaven..no harm done..and got a little protein! Google low carb frappe...bet u can make it at home!

    Tummy Tuck

I literally only have a few inches that wernt cut across my back. It was extensive. I guess that's why it was so bad. I also had a drain tube grow into my skin. Very painful. Just my experience!

    No weight loss with sleeve?!

I was sleeved six weeks ago. I have lost 31 lbs and STILL have the fear of failure! Its the same old game...I will get on the scale and see I've gained. I never do...but I can't get all of my failures before to leave my head. It like its too good to be true...like a diet u lose 5 lbs in a day on and then gain 20. It is all in my head...and hard to overcome. I celebrate my success and am excited about it...there is just always that self doubt lurking around.

    Tummy Tuck

I haven't had a c section..but for me the tuck was terrible. It was a long road to feeling normal again. The drains were gross and I walked bent over like an old lady for a while. They cut me almost in half...

    Tummy Tuck

I had it before the sleeve...before I thought about the sleeve. 17 lbs of skin and fat off. Worst pain ever.

    Any regrets?

I felt like that for the first four or five days. I didn't have to do two weeks of liquid thank God. I got to add refried beans. You will make it and it will get better!

    Eating more

I did the same thing. In fact..I made my hubby take me to two different restaurants on our last dinner out. One for chargrilled oysters..and one for steaks. I gained 25 lbs. However..I'm about six weeks out and dont feel that need anymore. I go out to eat and get a grilled or baked app..or eat off others plates. .depending on what they ordered. At home I don't crave candy or bread...or chips. I don't regret my last affair with food. What I did was right for me. I said my goodbyes.

    Fish

We love to blacken fish...you can get blackened redfish seasoning and use it one all fish. I'm from louisiana and nothing beats catfish for me. Our Albertsons has some you can buy frozen in 15 lb boxes. They are huge! You can feed a family on one! We always bake them. You can also put some cajun seasoning on it and bake it.

    My husband is killing me!

My first day home from surgery my MIL brought over fried chicken!
  15. I am going carbless. I was told not to eat them dor 6-8 months. My concern is that like all carb free diets...once u start eating them...u gain it back. I never plan to eat a huge hamb bun or slab of cake again...but I do plan on eating a bit of cake for my birthdays! I voiced my concern with my nut and she said most food has carbs...like beans and fruit. I can have those. Just not processed bread and such. I am doing it bc I want to follow the rules...not bc I understand them! Haha!

    quick easy grab n go?

Anyone have a go to quick food? Something maybe frozen and heated in the microwave? When my family eats something I can't, I wish I had a frozen go to food. Any suggestions?

    self doubt!

I was sleeved on July 8th. I have lost 28 lbs. My goal is to lose 60. Everytime I get on the scale I am scared that I will gain or stop losing. It is that little voice in my head that knows I have never been successful before in losing all my weight...so why would I now? I'm not depressed...I'm excited about my success so far. I just wish I could get that negative nelly out of ny head that says you can't do this. I know I can!

    quick easy grab n go?

I like these ideas! I did make the egg muffins...with egg, cheese, mushrooms, and seasoning. I freeze them for breakfast. I can't have corn for 6 months! I wondered about low carb tortillas or ones made with cauliflower. I need to ask my nut. I havent had any bread type items yet and it will be anither 6 months before I'm allowed...unless I can lose my weight before then. I'm 1/3 the way there!
  19. I am 6 days out. I don t understand why I can have processed cream of whatever and broth and yogurt but you can't have fresh blended up fruit or eggs. I need something more than soup. I know its tmi but my belly can tell there is no substance coming in...so I'm having trouble with diarrhea...which doesn't help my fluids! I want an egg or some refried beans and my nut said no!

    Lots of questions...please help!

If you do get a credit card, you may qualify for zero interest. Plus...having one can help your credit. I am also a PCOS. I did fertility for a year. We stopped for a month and were waivering between ivf and adoption. We decided to try ivf once and before picking up the medication I found out I was pregnant. The last treatment I had was an exploratory surgery..and he cleaned out my tubes. (Which are disformed) After having my baby, I developed congestive heart failure. I almost died. It took six months to recover my heart. Four years later we adopted the most beautiful baby girl from China. My point: no matter what the difficulty. .there is always a way to expand your family and always hope!

    Smoking

I quit several years ago..cold turkey. My husband used chantix and it worked for him. Keep with it! My mother in law still smokes. Had I known I stunk so bad I woukd of never started. I can bareky stand it now and I feel so much better. If getting the sleeve is worth it...stopping smoking is definitely worth it!
