I am noticing my complexion is lightening up; all my insulin resistant black marks are disappearing.

I'm 5 weeks out today, and got my 1st period after surgery (which is in schedule). My periods were so irregular, I bled for 2 weeks prior to my surgery, during, and 1 after my surgery.

Don't do it!!! I'm 4 months out and only lost 20 pounds. So dizzy and weak' date=' can hardly function. Only thing I can eat is Protein. When I splurge on fruits and veggies, it's at the cost of getting my Proteins in. Even though I live on those disgusting protein supplements, my labs show I'm muscle wasting. I would give anything to have my life back. Being fat is much better than living like this.[/quote']II'm sorry you're going thru that and don't know your history, but I'm having the surgery. I would like a healthier life. My eating habits didn't cause me to be this way, PCOS did. Before I made this decision, I was on a road towards insulin shots, BP pills, and spending the rest of my life being a childless mother. So once again I'm sorry you're going thru tough times, but this lady is having her surgery.

Has anyone used the Gastric binder? I saw it on one of the Bariatrics online stores. I'm just curious.

What is Onderland?Getting into the 100s. I think, but whatever it is I can't wait to get there.

Oh ok thanks

I get them from Walmart. I like the watermelon flavor one. They are 3.5 oz and 42 grams of Protein. Right now drinking one of those and a Protein Shake is the only way I can get my numbers in.
What brand? I need to start stocking up. Surgery is 7 1/2 weeks away.

I got the call Friday that my surgery is scheduled for October 2nd. I have a couple more preop appointments and I will be ready. I am so excited! I decided to have the surgery in January so it will be almost 9 months from my decision until my surgery. Anyone else in October?I'm October 9th, I'm so excited. I went to the seminar in June and did all my tests in July. My insurance company received my paperwork on July 29th and approved on August 1st.
