Good idea - going to bed! :-)

TJL, thanks so much! I logged it in MFP. My worst day since my surgery. Drinking 0 calorie SoBe life water now. Sweet and giving me that full feeling. I'm better now. This is such a great community. No one else would understand!

2nd chance, beach lover and alwayshungry, thank you so much! Yes I needed some tough love! I AM a sugar addict!! One little bit sends me over the edge. Alwayshungry, I would love to know some of the things you know I have lost 69 pounds in almost 5 months but I have not conquered this addiction. So disheartening.

Progress at 2.5 months with pics.
Wags replied to gamergirl's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You look amazing!! I'm so glad you shared your pics!! I think this whole weight loss journey includes mostly stalls with small bits of occasional weight loss in between that add up to a large amount over time! :-) -
Does anyone know the reason?

That map is so wrong! I grew up in Reno Nevada and we called all soft drinks "coke"! As in "I'd like a coke please". "What kind?" "Dr. Pepper." When I moved to Kansas and said "I'd like a coke please." That's what I would get. A Coke.

NSV! On my smartphone, I took a picture with my new Royals shirt on. My husband saw it and asked me to send it to him. Then, without me knowing, he sent it to Walgreens to be printed and then taped it to the bathroom mirror with the word "hubba, hubba, ooh-la-la!" :-)

Yum!!!!!!!

You're welcome!! I love my protein snacks! Also, do you like yogurt? Dannon Light & Fit Greek Yogurt is good AND a great source of protein! I like the strawberry and blueberry.

The lump in the throat is what I had when I had excess stomach acid. I had hunger pangs and the lump. I started a PPI (Omeprazole) and it got better. PPI is a proton pump inhibitor lke Prilosec and Nexium.

I won't judge you. Everyone is different. Let me ask you a question - how many pieces of pizza did you eat at one sitting before your sleeve? Or sushi rolls? Surely it's a lot less now, right? And yes, it could be because you eat slowly. How long does it take to eat those things you mentioned? Also, are you drinking liquid before, during or after your meal? Personally, I think those who are 3 months out and eating 2 tablespoons then vomiting have something wrong like a stricture or something. 35 pounds in 3 months is good. That's an average of three pounds per week which is a very good rate of weight loss. Please don't despair. You are losing at a good pace. AND you are doing healthy things like walking and riding.

Hahahahahah! That is hilarious!!!!
