I am exactly the same. I have not lost anything in 6 days either. I'm pretty sure I was eating too many carbs so I fixed that 2 days ago, but still no movement. I joined my fitness pal last week and I'm friends with Mizzougirl too. My name there is KUWags if you want to add me. As far as no weight loss, I'm going to keep working the plan because I don't really have a choice. I usually get 500-600 calories so I might try to up those.

You can change your calorie goal under edit profile and net calorie goal. :-) -
That's awesome!!! I think we are more self conscious of what and how much we are eating than our friends and family are. I added puréed tuna yesterday. Omigosh! It was soooo good to me!!!

Wow Mizzougirl! That is scary! I'm so glad you got it figured out! Hang in there girl. You are doing so great!!!

I read about a lot of us newbies who are stalling within the first month. Did any of you vets with really good weight loss have this happen to you?? Advice?
-
That's great that it got better for you today! Good luck with eggs tomorrow! I haven't lost anything since last Thursday. Feeling kind of down about that. :-(

I have and they were fine for me. I only had three or four bites with some gravy so they would be more liquidy. How are you doing Kailisa???

Shirlann, I'm so sorry it's been so slow! The veterans on the forum say to stick it out and it will start coming off. Hang in there! You're doing everything right! -
Hope you had a great weekend too! I agree on the food part. Started purées and some of them sat like a rock and made me full forever. As bad as the liquid phase was, it's easier than the next phases :-). We will get there though :-).

I used to be able to drink vitamin water zero, powerade zero, and anything diet, but now the taste of artificial sweeteners makes me sick! Any advice?

Hi Kailisa! So good to hear from you!! I am trying some avocado tonight puréed with spaghetti sauce. I know it sounds weird but I have been craving both of those. Can I get the recipe for your crab ball? That sound yummy too! Things are going well today. Keep up the great work!

AND that you can eat a LOT of without discomfort.

Oh I'm so happy you tried it! I had runny oatmeal this morning and about 3-4 bites of mashed potatoes this afternoon. That oatmeal made me full up to my neck for hours!! I had 1/4 cup of mashed potatoes but could not fit in more than those 3-4 bites!! Wow! It really works!

I am one month post op and so far today I've eaten Buffalo Chicken, Chipotle, an entire wheel of cheese and a chocolate shake. Is that OK?

So where are all the cool kids this beautiful Friday and what's for lunch?
Wags replied to newat52's topic in The Lounge
Newat52, I wanna come to your house too!! Definitely one of the cool kids!!!! My kids are coming home for the weekend and we are going to see "man of steel" in the balcony (dinner and drinks). I'll just have Soup, but it's so fun to sit in heated love seats and dine and drink while watching a good movie. Especially when you get to do it with the people you love! I'm two weeks and down 22 pounds :-) -

I know what you mean!!! I gave my dog some Peanut Butter in her Kong and almost licked my finger with the little bit of extra! Those dreams are scary. I keep dreaming about lasagna! Ever since day one!
