The Pre op diet is the hardest. I had to take Tylenol a lot to combat the headaches, etc. but I want to encourage you because it doesn't last long and AFTER during post op it's actually much easier because your stomach is smaller and you can't (don't want to) eat as much!!

Percent of excess body weight. So if you need to lose 100 pounds and you have lost 40, then you have lost 40% of excess body weight. -
So amazing RJ! It's a great accomplishment on top of all your struggles. I have seen some of your posts to others and you are such an encourager! So inspiring!

chicken, cheese, beef, milk, tofu, edamame. These are all good sources of Protein. Your list of what you are eating does not contain much protein at all. Most people will tell you "protein first"!! Me included. Fruits, vegetables and goldfish crackers have lots of carbs. Protein first, then produce, then fruit IF you have room, carbs last - but really you should be too full for those. I woul recommend logging your food intake on something like My Fitness Pal so you know exactly how much protein you are getting in. That is your most important number! At LEAST 60 grams per day.
