Thanks y'all! I just went to Carolina beach this Memorial Day weekend and my niece took a ton of pics. My kids actually helped my pick out the bikini. They have been so supportive. -

Do it!! Even if it's just for your eyes only!! You will appreciate it as you start to change. I wish I had taken more pics right before my surgery. It's good to see how much you progress, keeps you motivated. -

I'm in the Johnston/wake county area. I'd love to attend a local support group, maybe do a clothing exchange!! -
My man is a breast man, so the bra would stay on about 5 secs but I may be able to dim down the lights. I'm a bit distracted by background music. I can listen for a bit but if I lose focus on the task at hand it can mean disaster!! Hahaha

Ok I have a different twist. Before my surgery, I really enjoyed sex. I was big but everything was filled out. My big boobs had my big belly to rest on. The skin was tight, it was filled with fat but it was tight. I knew what positions worked for me and my at the time boyfriend had no complaints with my sexual confidence. Now 77lbs later, when my legs go up the loose skin comes down, we aren't gonna discuss the boobs during Dawg...lol, my apron makes more noise than I ever could. My new boyfriend says he could care less about any of that stuff he adores my body extra skin ad all but I know my confidence is down and it's effecting my enjoyment. I still have the desire and all the hormones are doing there job, I'm in a mind funk!! I'm glad I'm healthy and would not change anything I've been thru but I wasn't ready for this part of the post op. Thanks for letting me rant and sorry if that was a bit Tmi for some of y'all. Does anyone else feel that way??

Hi everyone! I'm an LPN in NC. When I hit 25lbs down, I got new yoga pants and a new sports bra. When I hit 50, I got new running shoes, when I hit 75 I got a new bikini!! I have 10 left to go. Everyone at my job has been super supportive and I've been very open about my surgery and all the ups and downs! I'm 9 months out and have lost 77 lbs so far! -
Thanks!! I feel fantastic and I've started traing for my first 5k! I usually reward myself with a new pair of running shoes!! Better than cupcakes!!
-
Sorry about the everyone!! I hit the send button to soon!! LoL. Here's a better set of pics!! Yeah, I love the camera even more now!!

I had to have my sleeve stretched. My doc said I had a slight stricture. It's not uncommon it jut means that when my sleeve was healing it was a little to narrow. My GI doc did an EGD and performed a ballon dilatation. OP procedure quick and easy. Afterward no more nausea. It's hard to keep up with the intake but do the best you can.

I had to have my sleeve stretched. I had an EGD due to a slight stricture. My doc said it does happen sometimes that sleeves may heal a little tight which causes nausea and vomiting. Te EGD was easy and they did a ballon dilatation.

Hello everyone. I was sleeved 8 months ago and what a journey it has been!! As of today, I'm officially down 75lbs from my highest weight!! From 221 to 146!! I go to the gym about 3 -4 days a week, I try to get about 80grams of protein and around 64oz of water a day. I had some struggles with nausea early in and had to have my sleeve stretched a little but since then all clear!! To all the new folks and pre ops, stick to it!! It's so worth it!!

Congrats!! -
I saw that one also and was equally frustrated!! It was so sad to just watch her with excuse after excuse!! I'd like to know what her outcome is now, since the show aired and everything.
-
Congrats to everyone just staring their story and congrats to all those who have joined the "losers bench" I've been sleeved since June and I'm loving life!! My biggest issue has been with my hair!! I finally have decided to just braid it all and get a wig!! Ugh!!

The only thing that I've found that I like and has great protein is GNC lean and Go ready to drink shakes. They have 25gm protein per bottle and it's not thick or overly sweet. I get vanilla bean and add SF syrup or chocolate to change it up. I don't like powders because I can't ever get that chalky feeling off my tongue!! Yuck!! Oh yeah it only has 6 gm of sugar per bottle. 170 cals. They always have some type of special so the price isn't crazy.

The numbers are in.... & I still can't believe it!
