What am I doing to myself?
fattie replied to jvonna09's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Did you chew until they were mushy I hope. You need to take a step back and realize why you had this surgery. You are probably alright, but you can not keep this behavior up. Right now your stomache is numb because of the nerves that were cut during the operation. So you probably would not feel the pain if you did any damage. Call your surgeon and let him know what you did. Maybe he can have you come in and get a barium test to make sure. I wish you the best. Just remember food will always be there. You need to treat your stomache like it is a newborns stomache. -

fattie replied to Flagstaffian's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
If you want this surgery bad enough you will find away to get those pounds off. It will be hard but it is doable. Try a liquid diet, try the 5:2 diet where you fast 2 days a week. -
You can do this. We are here for you. Good luck and keep us updated.

When children call an adult fat it is wrong. That is very disrespectful. What do you think children are calling other children who are overweight? It all comes down to teaching your children to treat everyone the same even if they are fat, skinny, black, white, brown, handicaped and so forth. That is whats wrong with society, no one wants to teach their children to not be judgemental. Its a sad world we live in.

Where did all this hunger come from?
fattie replied to kdnhk's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was thinking about this last night and forgot to mention when you are thirsty it will feel like hunger to. Make sure to get your fluids in and see if that helps as well. Good luck. -

fattie replied to NeverBeTheSameAgain's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You need to sip sip sip and then sip some more. Gatorade is good to drink if you feel dehydrated or maybe baby pedilite. Please dont worry about the protein, it will get there eventualy. Right now its about the fluid you need. Always have a drink in your hand and sip sip sip and then sip some more. -
Where did all this hunger come from?
fattie replied to kdnhk's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
We will always have head hunger. Part of the hormone was removed but not all of it. And from my understanding that hormone does come back.plus there are other hormones that make us hungry as well. Thats why its important to make sure you always get protein in first veggies second and maybe carbs if you have any extra room. The further out you get the solid protein will keep you fuller longer. Are any of you taking a PPI for acid reflux which also mocks hunger? -

I dont work husband wants me at home so its hard being there. Shoot you can only clean the house so many times a day and then your left with the tv or computer and thats my boring time. TOTAL DISBELIEF
fattie replied to NeverBeTheSameAgain's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
What an AMAZING feeling!! You should be so proud of yourself! My heart is shedding tears of joy for you. Dont ever let the smile you are wearing from this moment on leave, you deserve it. -
My question is, what are these parents and society teaching these children? I have always taught my skinny children that people come in all shapes and sizes and they do not judge anyone. Its up to us parents not to be judgemental in front of them no matter what because children are honest and they also always repeat what they hear and are being taught. So sad :’(

Im not new here. I have been apart of this forum for about 5 months now. Ive changed my name as to be not reconized. My problem is, I have been sleeved now for almost 5 months and I can eat about the same amount as before I was sleeved. So I have decided to start purging what I eat. I know I need some professionel help but can not afford it. What I am asking is what would you do if you were in my shoes and did not have the funds to seek help. And why do you thibk my sleeve might have streched. I stuck to this diet to a T.
