Not all since surgery- lost about 12 lbs before my preop diet- started my liquid at 241, surgery 226 and 187 today -
Put this side by side together tonight... Crazy! I posted a few pics last week but I see it so much better with a close up! Still don't feel like I'm the size I am.. Brain hasn't caught up- but the pics help me see it better than a mirror everyday or the scale. Btw my surgeon said something at my last visit when I asked about stalls.. It stuck with me. Best way to break a stall- stop weighing yourself- do what you are supposed to do with your Protein, Water and exercise and the weight will go with time.

There is a surgeon near charlotte that has done a lot of post wt loss pts. http://m.hunstadcenter.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fhunstadcenter.com%2F#2659 This page has his body lifts.. There are also some mommy makeovers on his page. I'm very impressed by his work though! ( I'm very picky about the "after" belly buttons ) -

Breast Reduction/Lift *Graphic Pics
meganlj replied to DEZ1975's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
Just wanted to respond about breastfeeding. I'm a lactation consultant and have seen it go both ways for my patients. There are risks , loss of sensation which can affect the hormonal response needed during the first phase of milk production, The removal of glandular tissue leading to insufficient production of milk, and what I see most is what we call dead ends. The glandular tissue may remain in tact, but the ducts, or roads, don't have a way out of the breast, thus dead ends. I often see moms struggle with engorgement because of the dead ends. Having said all that, I also see moms who produce a great supply after reduction. Just some things to consider I guess. There are great resources about breastfeeding after reduction, my favorite is bfar.org -
Anyone else notice after a long awaited BM you feel bad the rest of the day? My entire abdomen gets crampy and I feel overall crappy- no pun intended.... Tell me I'm not alone here.

Hey everybody- anyone else having trouble with taking pills? I can NOT get my Zoloft to go down comfortably. I am breaking them in half but my sleeve is NOT a fan at all. I took a few days off to see if it would improve, but just spent 10 minutes dry heaving. Sorry about TMI.. Help! I need my meds... I'm 17 days post op
