Hi there, I was recently banded on 6-21-07 at NWWLS but I live in Spokane. Does anyone know if there is a support group in this area?? Thanks!

Hi Rachelle, Congrats on your upcoming surgery! It is good to hear from someone close. I would love to start a support group. I haven't heard of any groups that meet around here yet. Let's stay in touch!

Just checking in with my first report. I am up to 255 minutes. I am ahead of my goal right now but I am going on vacation in a week! Thanks musicalmomma for tracking this for us. This is great accountability.

Caolin That is great news about your sleep test! Happy 4th to you too!

Caolin - I am sorry to hear that your surgery was delayed. It is hard to get mentally prepared. There was 6 weeks between my first appointment and my surgery date. Believe it or not, the time will fly by and you will have much more peace of mind the morning of the surgery.

I am definitely up for an exercise challenge. For the first week of July my goal is 20 minutes everyday. Most days, I have exceeded goal and completed 30 minutes to an hour. I found I am more likely to get moving if I know I only have to do 20 minutes.

Hi Group! Yesterday afternoon I had some soup and I have had a side ache ever since. ( maybe I ate it too fast, I did not get enough protein yesterday) I thought it would be gone by this morning, but its not. Anyone ever felt this? Could it be gas? I never really suffered from gas pains. Shellmar -- glad to hear you are doing well. I was concerned when I didn't see any posts from you after your surgery. PineNut-- I love grapes from Costco! I am starting to go crazy on this liquid diet and can't wait until I can have some real food again. Caolin - thanks for the welcome. Any luck scheduling your sleep test? You will be in bandland with the rest of us very soon!

Hi Everyone, I was banded last week on the 21st by Dr. Michaelson. I am now feeling pretty good and went back to work today! I have been browsing this website for awhile but I'm very excited as I just stumbled upon this particular NWWLS thread. So, I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself, and of course, say congrats to each of you for taking this next step in the rest of our lives. I feel blessed to have such a support team! On a side note- is there anyone from the eastside? I am from Spokane.
