Okay, so I haven't had surgery. I am scheduled for 27th! But I have a question for all the post ops. How are you dealing with emotional hunger? I'm a secretary and sit 8 hours a day! I notice that I just find myself eating more to just past the time! I don't want to be one of those people who go through all this then gain all the weight even more back? Feeling very worried and concerned!

Theory is good so not sure about a new job unless I find a better pating one

I work on a computer all day! But very strict can't use Internet! I am customer service rep for hospital billing so due to hipaa can't do much

Cindymg I so wish I could just sit and read these all day at work! The problem with me job is we can't have phones out at all. Can't be reading books/magazines while working. It's strictly work. I answer phones all day so if its slow I don't know what I'm going to do! I could stick up on gum! I live gum

Vinniej3 The moment I wake up I think what am I going to eat today? Do I have enough food to get me through work? It consumes my mind. I hope and pray that I can change my mindset after surgery

I wasn't required to have a diet for months, and my insurance approved it in 3 days! But it did take months for me to actually get to the surgery because my iron was so low and I had to take some meds to get my ulcers cleared it was about 6 months to get everything finalized. So I am scheduled for my surgery the 27th! It really depends on the insurance and the person

I am hooked on watching you tube videos and looking at before and 1 year post op photos. That I think I am driving myself crazy! I had a friend many years ago that had surgery and she gained all her weight back plus more I don't want to be like that! That is my biggest fear!!! I am finally having my surgery on June 27th at 8am. I can't wait it's something I have wanted for so many years! It's just around the corner I can almost touch it with my finger tips. Nut yes still feel so far sway! 19 days and counting!! But will this really work for me? Am I really going to finally be happy and healthy! Will I finally be able to get married and have a family that i have always wanted!!!?? I think I'm driving myself crazy!!! I'm really obsessed right now!!!!

In just one week I start my pre op diet! I'm actually looking forward to it! That will help me realize this is real and it's finally my turn! I went walking around mall today and they had a grand opening for Vitamin world. So I decided to start buying my Vitamins because they where buy one get one for a penny! Pretty excited!

I know exactly what you mean justkeepswimming! I can't wait to start this journey! I have been over weight my entire life as far back as I can remember! I am looking forward to the day I can dress up in a cute dress and just go out and have fin! I look forward to the simple thing that people take for granted!

Yes I have a book on all of it. I have surgeon and nutritionist, and all that! And my surgery is set for August 27th
