Hola!! Vamos a presentarnos segun nos unamos a nuestro grupo? Empiezo yo, tengo 38 años y soy nacida en Puerto Rico. Actualmente resido en la coste este de los Estados Unidos con mi esposo y mis dos hijos. Desde que cumplí los 18 años siempre he tenido una lucha constante con tratar de mantener un peso saludable y no "engordar". Dietas, ejercisios, pastillas, medicinas, hasta pastillas chinas q a saber que contenian. Hace tres años tuve mi baby y aumenté tanto de peso que aun no he podido bajarlo, y me di cuenta que necesitaba ayuda. Desde principios de éste año empezé a leer y estudiar todo sobre la cirujia bariátrica. Tomé la decisión de buscar un cirujano y empezar mi lucha para operarme. Actualmente terminé todo el proceso pre operatorio con mi cirujano, y estoy en espera que mi seguro médico me apruebe. A la misma vez, he mirado la alternativa de operarme en Mexico si mi seguro no me aprueba. Soy "lightweight", mi BMI es 35, y padezco de alta presión, alto colesterol y diabetes 2. Vamos a contar nuestras historias, gracias por leer!!!

News: After MRI, Neurological test, drs appointments, they think I have a eye muscle problem. No accidents, no previous issues, just my sleeve and my weight lost.... Now, I have to use prism eye glasses, and waiting for a eye surgery to try to repair my problem. I just can say, that I know that my problem its related with my weight loss and I always take my vitamins, water,etc...

Hi everyone! I had my sleeve surgery on sept 2013.... I reached my weight goal, and no diabetes or hbp meds! But, Im very concerned and want to know if anyone have vision or eye problems? I use eye glasses and contact lenses for long time ago....but 4 months after the surgery I began to notice a change in my left eye...Now its worse! My left eye crossed when I try to focus at distance....I saw 2 eye doctors and they cant tell me whats wrong with my eye! I'm desperate because I even drive my car.....anyone with this issue?! Thank you so much!!

Update, I went to my pcp today, she send me to do a lot of blood work, and a head mri. Then, will we wait the results to see what cause my eye problem. She told me about nerve, or muscle eye problems, tumor, or lyme disease or some infection.... Will see....

I would like to know if anyone here has the same situation. I have 35.2 bmi, diabetes, hbp and gallstones. ...so I need to remove my gallblader too...Can anyone share experiences or advise please??!

Hi! I had a bmi 35 , and I was approved... I understand you so well, so I believe you will be approved with your sleep apnea! Im so happy and healthy, no diabetes no hbp! Good luck and keep the faith!!!

Hi!!! Great lost Betzy! Im at 136 and Im so happy. Yes, and my hair is falling out since 1 month go.... Im so frustrated about it, because Im taking 10, 000 mg of biotin daily before my surgery....Do you know any good shampoo or hair treatment? yea, my dr told me that the increase of protein should help....keep in touch!!

I was 3 months out on 12/18....my surgery was on 9/18 High weight: 199 Surgery weight: 177 Today weight: 137 The better, no diabetes and hbp meds!!

Yesssss! I'm so happy for you!!!!yes, I'm a slow loser too, but I'm so happy and feel healthy too! I love my sleeve too! The stalls sucks jajajj mines always long for a week. Good luck in your journey

Hi people, I have 10 weeks since my surgery and I feel a heavy back pain every day!!!! Its hurts a lot and I cant do exercise.... Any idea? Anyone with the same problem? Thankssss!
