Omg, I cant believe how fast was my approval, and my surgery date. I received the email today with my pre op appoint. and nurse. My surgery date is 9/18.....I'm in shock now , now what? Omg I need time to think and prepare myself...... o_O -

Yes, me...I have Masshealth through NHP. No 6 months diet, they approved me in one day. 35.2 bmi with comorbidities...oh I live in MA. Good luck!

I got approved! To all of "lightweights" please try the insurance approval! I have a 35.2 bmi, diabetes type 2, hbp and high cholesterol. .., my pre op process was 4 months ( I had a gallblader surgery so I used one month for this surgery), and I have the state insurance (medicaid) with NHP. So, please check before, don't loose the faith, and good luck to all of you!! I'm waiting my date! Yayy -

I'm diabetic type 2 too....this is one of my principal reasons to want the surgery. I'm waiting my date and then, I hope in the future no need my metformin, combined with my recent gallblader surgery I have diarrea everyday I'm so tired!!!!!! -

Hi, I got my approval very fast! Bmi 35.2 and lose 17 pounds before surgery. ..yes we can...nothing its impossible, just we need to try... -

Omg omg omg omg omg omg!! I cant believe it!!!!! Its real, I'm approved! My doctors office submitted on 8/28 and I was approved on 8/29, and I didnt know until todayyyyyyyyyyyyyy. I called my insurance directly and baaammmmm!(one user of this forum recomend me call the insurance directly-thanks!). So, officially, I'm waiting my surgery date♥
