About Me
I grew up a bonified Navy brat so all over really. I always considered myself a chubby tomboy, if that makes since.
We moved to Virginia when I was 15, when my parents decided to divorce, so I did the typical teenage rebel thing. Things got a little better when I moved to California. Where I met my first husband at the tender age of 20 and was divorced from him 6 months later, from spouse abuse. Which of course my self confidence went out the window. Needless to say in about 6 months I went from 130 to 160. Once I moved back to VA I managed to stay the same weight. Until I met my current husband and the kids came all though I love them dearly and they are a huge part why I chose to do this surgery so I can get healthy. I did how ever managed to shoot up from 160 to 240 in a matter of years. I am living proof it is never to late to change your life. I started out in my marriage from a house wife, to working at daycare's to finally when I hit about 30 I decided I need to and want to do something with my life. I went to school full time became a medical assistant / phlebotomist I quickly found out I had a knack for drawing blood so I have been working for Labcorp ever since. last year when we were redoing are insurance I took a good look at myself and my family and quickly decided I did not want to continue down this very unhealthy path. So once January rolled around I contacted Bluepoint surgical group and started the process I now am in the home stretch for my surgery and I'm ready to start my new life.
