Hi. Here's an update. I saw my Dr weeks ago & we discussed my stall. She said, get this, I WASN'T EATING ENOUGH. First time in my life I heard that. Anyway I did what she said and now I'm loosing regularly. I'm down 47 lbs since May. Went from size 20 to a 14. Dr said eat 6 times a day. The day I started that I started loosing. She also said no more shakes. Make your stomach work to digest the food, it's a muscle and it has to move. I have no problem getting my protein with regular food and eat every 3 hrs.

And like you, I have little energy or tire easily. It's hard for me to walk because I have a bad knee & neck, but I am doing arm toning with light weights.

I hear you. I'm not eating 6 small meals. More like 3 or 4. But I make sure to drink 1-2 protein shakes a day & take my vitamins. When I eat I get horrible reflux. It makes me not want to eat.

I mostly eat chicken or fish now. I'm finding it hard to get my veggies in since my protein takes up most of the space. I still drink 1-2 protein shakes a day & make sure I take my vitamins.

My mom is always negative. When I was thin I was TOO THIN. However since I have gained weight (20 yrs now) she will call me up & work onto every conversation about how fat i am. She used to tell me I wouldn't get married "because men want their women to look good". Well I got married 8 yrs ago. He loves me no matter what. When I decided to do the surgery I told NO ONE but my husband. I let my family know once I had a date. I told them that if they couldn't be supportive to please say nothing at all because I am doing this for me and my health.

My surgery was 5 wks ago. I'm on regular food now. I eat normal food just very little of it. However I have not had bread of any kind (i only ate wheat or multi grain) since I started the pre op diet. I figure I have do little space don't want to waste it on bread.

May 13 for me. Feeling scared and keep asking myself if I should go through with it. Anyone else feel this way?

Me too! I got my date yesterday May 13. I'm happy but scared. This is major and no going back. I'm on my first day of liquids and having headaches already. Sometimes I get upset with myself saying "Why can't you just do it the normal way ?" But I know why. Definitely not looking forward to pain afterward and all the loose skin. I have asked 5 people that I know who have had the bipass and they said they would do it again in a heartbeat. I'm 5'1" @250 but have always been active. What helped me make my decision was finding out I have herniated discs and a torn meniscus. Dr keeps saying loose weight. I found a support group but it only meets once a month. I haven't told my family yet. I plan on doing that by the weekend.
