OK I had to share this cuz I made it this evening and several families loved it. So here it goes: It is basically a fruit salad One package of fat free coolwhip One small pkg of sugar free strawberry Jello Mix those together till jello is basically dissolved Then add 12 oz of reduced fat cottage cheese Then add 1 cup of sliced strawberries and 1 bannana sliced (I left these out this time because I am not at the point where I can have raw fruit..but it was very good and tons of protein) ENJOY!

I must say I was so thrilled with it. I found a recipe on Pinterest for Cauliflower pizza crust. I made that and for the sauce I used the cauliflower alfredo sauce. then topped with shredded queso cheese. I loved it and so did my kids. MY ole man says he might like it if it had real pizza sauce and maybe some toppings. so next time I have to make too. Dein finatley gonna be a recipe to make again...Cant even tell it is made of cauliflower amazing!

Dizziness after surgery
Lisha73 replied to mizehpanther's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had the same issue after surgery...I was on a patch that went behind my ear for 10 days. It was the only thing that worked for me. They say you can get them from pharmacy area for motion sickness they are the same thing...mine was a prescription from the hospital but they said if I needed them after to go to walgreens. -

Lisha73 replied to freakinfitfoodie's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A

For the first time ever, I dont feel like I am on a diet!
Lisha73 replied to Miss Piggy's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I am 5 weeks post op as well, and I have not ventured out to test the waters that much. I eat very small amounts of food, currently eating chicken breast strips, (precooked out of the deli section) that is a staple in my diet. I love eating real food, but I can barely eat 2 tbls. One other food I really enjoy eating is quinoa....love that stuff. -
Sorry...but I have to ask...
Lisha73 replied to Karnie's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Your question is not out of the ordinary alot of people ask the same question. I think mine was day 7. but you have to remember that you are NOT eating alot of food and your body is really using what you are putting into it. so not much waste to get rid of...and your intestines are very long, you would think that it would come out faster but without something behind it pushing it out. -
curious where other ppl are at around 3.5 mths out
Lisha73 replied to NicoleLpn's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Well I am not at 3.5 months out by any means, I am actually 5 weeks out and as of today I am down 38 lbs. My goal was to be down 40 by july 4th. I am looking forward to the future because I love my sleeve. Congrats to everyone on their current post op accomplishments. Everyday is a new one and a new adventure. -

Yes garlic is amazing and smells great too...I use alot of it in my cooking now more than ever for me....like the cauliflower alfredo sauce that I make. No carbs, and tastes amazing.

It is a head thing...just find something to occupy your mind, it will go away.

how long did you surgery last
Lisha73 replied to janie2024's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was only sleeved and mine was 90 mins. I had no complications. -
Just like everyone above stated..you just need to be up front bout it, otherwise she will never stop pushing it on you. Good luck

Would love to taste some chineese food again, but I do NOT plan on trying that one for a long while. there is so much different seasonings used and alot of MSG. so for me it would be a huge NONO...plus you would only be able to have like I piece of meat and some veggies so unless you made it at home not worth the money

I am 5 weeks out and I have to say that I you need to stay hydrated, the protein you will not be able to get this all in for a while, and take things slowly, if you are feeling like vomiting then you are taking in to much right now, remember you are still very swelled inside. dont push it, stay on clear or full liquids.

4 month out as of today and down...
Lisha73 replied to michelleooo513's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
you are doing AMAZING! -
You havent done any damage other than just to much intake. Getting in all your protein is hard especially in the 1st few months from what I have been told. You are do great. just take each day as a new day and just take that as it comes
