  1. Today I had a 7 week follow up visit. I am down 45 lbs. Plus last week I lost 220 lbs when the man that I thought I was gonna spend the rest of my life with left our family.

  2. I did it! I have lost 40 lbs by the 4th of July! I love my sleeve!

  3. Dont worry things will begin to move real soon. things will just fine. You will begin to melt! Enjoy the ride!

    Dizziness after surgery

I had the same issue after surgery...I was on a patch that went behind my ear for 10 days. It was the only thing that worked for me. They say you can get them from pharmacy area for motion sickness they are the same thing...mine was a prescription from the hospital but they said if I needed them after to go to walgreens.
  8. yeah this is normal as, had the same issue...it is where the stomach is taken out. It does get better I promise. Take each day as it comes.
  9. I am 5 weeks post op as well, and I have not ventured out to test the waters that much. I eat very small amounts of food, currently eating chicken breast strips, (precooked out of the deli section) that is a staple in my diet. I love eating real food, but I can barely eat 2 tbls. One other food I really enjoy eating is quinoa....love that stuff.
  10. Your question is not out of the ordinary alot of people ask the same question. I think mine was day 7. but you have to remember that you are NOT eating alot of food and your body is really using what you are putting into it. so not much waste to get rid of...and your intestines are very long, you would think that it would come out faster but without something behind it pushing it out.
  11. Well I am not at 3.5 months out by any means, I am actually 5 weeks out and as of today I am down 38 lbs. My goal was to be down 40 by july 4th. I am looking forward to the future because I love my sleeve. Congrats to everyone on their current post op accomplishments. Everyday is a new one and a new adventure.
  12. ok...nausea didnt have any at all... I am a parent of 3 rangeing in age from 3-17 and I was able to care for them just fine no probs. swimming as soon as my incisions were healed...10 days out for me before I took a bath or went swimming...(not to worry I did shower, LOL)

    Garlic

Yes garlic is amazing and smells great too...I use alot of it in my cooking now more than ever for me....like the cauliflower alfredo sauce that I make. No carbs, and tastes amazing.

    Craving soda!

It is a head thing...just find something to occupy your mind, it will go away.
  15. I was only sleeved and mine was 90 mins. I had no complications.
