Pressure cooked foods during mushy stage?
Lisha73 replied to mulan3472000's topic in Food and Nutrition
If anyone else uses a pressure cooker for mushy food please post. I am interested too. -
I am sure you are very discouraged as I am sure that we all would be. Have you talked to the nutrionist or your surgeon. They may want to do a blood test to see if there is something else that could be causing your extremely slow loss.

I think I was 5-6 days maybe even 7 days before I had one,....I was worried too and worried that it would hurt my insides...but it was ok...try drinking some apple juice to see if that will help you.

I'm a school teacher and wondering how long I should plan on taking off work?
Lisha73 replied to dinglehopper's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
Well when is your date? I would have to say I was completely back to normal in 2 weeks. however if you dont have a bunch of roudy kids I would say a week would be sufficient...if you can do some of teaching while sitting....it is just soreness not real pain. -
cottage cheese has 13 grams of protein per serving....

The cookie pieces are what made me like the double stuff cookie one...but if you didnt like that one you might want to try the cookies and cream by Isopure...it tasted ok to me but I like the syntrx one so much better.

I am almost 3 weeks post op and just got sick for the 1st time. After a slow recovery I was very afraid of vomiting...The worst part was the continued wreching after my sleeve was empty...I was only thankful that I didnt feel any pulling or pain. Tummy still dont feel well now...but think it was from post nasal drip....happened after I ate breakfast... YUCK!

They didnt give us an amount. They did suggest PB2 over regular peanut butter but did say we can have regular. Our Nut suggested as a snack between meals as a source of Protein. If I have any it is only a baby spoonful and that takes me 5-10 mins to lick on that.
