Lipsticklady is correct! you were not given the rules to follow NOT for them to be broken they were there because even tho you feel great and "CAN" eat all these foods, that is not a good thing. You could very much be damaging your staple line. and could def be in danger of a leak! You need to get back to basics and measure measure measure and DO NOT go over 2-3 oz at a time. You paid for a tool not a miracle... sorry if this seems harsh...but I would hate that you do damage to yourself and see the results that you were expecting. -
So I started getting up at the crackass of dawn to swim and I realized...

LOL...that is funny...at least you are getting in your exercise and that is fantastic! If you were able to gage the amount you take in I am sure that would count....Have a great day! -

Well...Hun...sounds to me like he is feeling insecure bout himself and taking it out on you! Is he one of those men that dont like to talk? Mine is...so it is hard for him to listen to how I feel when he is being a jerk. If he is one that you can talk to then maybe you all need to have a talk and see if things get any better.,
-
Is he becoming more insucure with himself as you lose your weight? Did he become acustomed to be larger and he was happy with that because he knew you wouldnt look somewhere else? and now that you are losing weight and prob gaining some pride and he is scared out of his mind?

You are sleeved right? Sleevers dont have dumping syndrome.....I do have bouts where my bowel movements are non existant...but then I will have direaha....It is your body healing and adjusting to your new eating habits and what you have done to it...Take each day as it comes. -

Must have felt great to get a comment like that! Yeah I had a Water issue today, went on a 4 mile bike ride got over heated and went to the water fountain and forgot that I was sleeved 3 weeks ago and chugged and then puked...so yeah always make sure you got your water with you...Lesson learned for me today! Good luck on your journey

Not sure bout any surgeries in Mx but I did take a look at your before and after pics...and You have done amazing! I was just sleeved in May of this year and I can only hope to have as good of results as you did! Congrats on such a great success!

I would ask what you are eating now? I ate alot of cream soups and then moved onto split pea soup pureed, and ham and bean pureed....Loved them very much lots of protein and filling and they stay with you for a while...I also got cream of potatoe and pureed that too. a can is like 5 meals...I did NOT add water to the cream of chicken soup or cream of mushroom....my Nut said not to they will stay with you longer...but the other ones I did cuz they were way too thick
-
I would ask the same questions... we all have bad days. and Believe me I can understand being upset after working all day and coming home to a mess when someone could have at least picked up some of it.. Sounds to me like he had nothing better to throw in your face then the fact that he can eat what he wants and you cant. You just remind him that you made a choice and happy with that choice.

Have you tried Senekot? It is a laxative made from fruits and vegtables. Suppose to be real subtle...I bought it and was gonna use and the next morning my constipation had passed..yeah me. But I do have it and it was one the surgeons office told us about. -
Based on the posts you see that you are not alone...I went to Olive Garden and had Chicken Alfredo, went with a friend and to the Chineese buffet, My and fiance went and had a steak dinner a really nice date night...So you see we all do it...

Great idea on putting a set in your purse...I haven't ate out yet but I am gonna put a set in my purse you never know when you might.

OK...well....thought I was doin a good thing went for a bike ride with a dear friend and my kids. There is a trail near our houses and it is so peaceful and nice....so we road out 2 miles and knowing we have another 2 miles back to the truck. Well we planned on a 4 mile ride, but this was a bit much on a beach cruiser with a 4 year old attached to the back of my bike in one of those carts....so the last mile was a real struggle for me (dont let me lie the last 2 miles) but at the end there is a Water fountain so I get there and I am so overheated and thirsty I jugged and jugged...guess what happened next..You got it PUKE! Note to self: dont take a drink you dont know anything about and dont know if you are gonna like it, take water with you to sip the entire ride. LESSON LEARNED!
-
I think this is the hardest thing for everyone...we learn to live by a clock and it seems crazy. But the reality is if you are gonna succeed you just do it...I always have a drink with me, but drinking and eating will stretch the sleeve and water down your food and wont be able to consume the nutrients you need to succeed....She will do fine! Good luck.

Yes...I do have cocktail forks and that is the only fork I will use....and I use baby spoons I got from the Dollar tree (12 for a $1 same kind I got from the hospital). I would strongly suggest you do what they say...it really does help. I found my cocktail forks at 2nd hand stores one here and one there...and I have like 6 now.

I have been on the pureed phase for several weeks...and I have to say I have not any issues. Refried Beans with some sour cream was awesome. also pork pureed with gravy over a teaspoon of potatoes...love cottage cheese. soups, also pureed chicken and gravy too... Water does hurt me too if I drink too fast....well any beverage really....I have noticed if I go a period of time where I have not eaten or drank anything like my sleeve is completely empty it hurts more.
